Vacation rentals with lake access in Kennebec County

We had a great stay at the lake house. The surrounding are beautiful and very peaceful. Aside from the occasional car going down the street across the lake it is very quiet. We took full advantage of the kayaks and were out on the lake every day and walking the bank looking for crawfish at night. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back again!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

The house was great and matched what the description was. Very spacious and everything needed. Matthew was also very responsive when I had questions. Would stay there again for sure!

Such a peaceful place to be. The house is very comfortable and has beautiful decor throughout. You cannot beat the view! Owners are so nice and very responsive. The house is the last house on a dirt road so it feels very private. Highly recommend!

What a place. So many great things to do. We swam and fished in the lake, the kayaks and canoes were so much fun and at night we sat by the fire pit and played table hockey.The house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly.

This lake camp is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. It was so nice to get up every morning and be greeted with beautiful close up lake views when you walk down the hallway towards the lake! Great location, close to Augusta, Readfield, Winthrop and plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. William was responsive whenever I had a question. Great place, great location! Such a peaceful spot!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Heather’s home. The location was wonderful - literally the lake at your doorstep - and sitting at the breakfast table watching the loons diving was amazing. This was one of the best equipped rentals we’ve stayed at - we had everything we could possibly have needed. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone in a larger group to have space. Restaurants/shopping in Augusta/Hallowell are an easy drive and a grocery store is about 5 minutes away. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was not ideal (cold/rainy) so we could not enjoy the outdoor space as we might have otherwise. But other than that, our trip was pretty much perfect!

My Daughter and I stay at Andrea's often for a get away. We love it there and would definitely recommend the rooms and apt. to anyone!!!

This place was very clean and a great stay. I was under the impression in the photos that this is a lakefront property, which it is not.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Perfect stay, even during the winter!

Nothing fancy but better than advertised view of the lake. Only noise we encountered were loons so if you want peace and quiet, this place works. Basically you turn into the Augusta Country Club parking lot which is the road to the colony of homes Mark's place is in. A little tough to see the road sign at night. Will rent again and would love to play ACC, looks like a great course.

This is a beautiful home. The hosts took the time to send clear instructions for getting to the house as well as where to park. They included pictures which was very helpful. The house was beautiful. We loved the restaurant recommendations. We would stay again if we go back to Maine.

Great location, waterfront, and the host is Very responsive. The host regularly checks on you to make sure everything is going well. Great service.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Colby College, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was such a meaningful milestone in our lives, and the accommodations provided the perfect home base for our celebration. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for. Despite the cold Maine weather, the warmth of the space and the thoughtful touches throughout our stay made us feel comfortable and at ease. We truly appreciated having a cozy and convenient place to return to after the graduation festivities. Thank you for playing a part in such a special and unforgettable weekend for our family.

So good I almost don’t want to leave a review because it feels like giving away a secret! We explored the nearby nature trail, went canoeing everyday, and our 3 year old loved playing at the little beach right off the property doorstep. Eric was responsive, proactive, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was memorable for us and our little one. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location on the pond. House was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, great amenities and a very comfortable bed. Even left us a case of water and a Smores kit. Any questions I had were answered within minutes

We absolutely love staying here! We come back year after year and love the cozy Maine cottage feel to this place. The perfect relaxing vacation and will definitely return for more!!

Very peaceful location, cozy feeling home with a great view of the lake and easy access, plenty of of space for dogs to roam around, Makenzie was very responsive and even brought us an AC day of check-in in a very timely manner! We will be back again for sure!

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!
