Norwood Cottage - 4 Star Gold

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I highly recommend staying at Norwood Cottage if you are looking for an ideal central location to take day trips to visit the Lake District, the Dales, Hadrian's wall, Liverpool, and more. Ella was a delightful host and I felt like I could have reached out whenever I needed to, to get more info on the area. In fact she did such a good job of giving us options for things like restaurants, that I did not feel a need to reach out any more often.

Cottage near Kirkby Lonsdale

CarolRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great weekend at the cottage celebrating a birthday- 4 adults, 2 children and a dog. The outdoor space is lovely - nice seating area with fire pit and big hot tub. The views are amazing and it’s so peaceful. We were supplied with everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. The owners said hello and provided more wood for the firepit which was lovely but otherwise you don’t know they are there. Our dog could get over the garden walls so bear in mind if you also have an exploring dog! It’s not the most modern of places inside but it’s homely and clean and had everything we needed!

The Barn at Blease

JennyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn! Joanna was a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and gave great local recommendations. She was also really responsive to messages and flexible when we asked about early check-in and late check-out, which made everything so much easier. The Barn itself is even more beautiful than the photos – cosy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches like bathroom minis, a great selection of books, and fresh apple juice in the mornings. The welcome manual was clear and helpful, although we didn’t need to refer to it much thanks to Joanna’s warm welcome and explanations. The location is perfect for exploring the Lakes, and the peaceful surroundings made for a great night’s sleep. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here – and we’re already hoping to return. Thank you so much Joanna for such a lovely stay!

Skylight

The micro barn was absolutely fantastic, excellent bolt hole from the hustle & bustle. Stunning scenery, we loved to sit on the patio and especially the field behind on an evening, to take in the amazing view. Excellent for hikers and ramblers, one and a half miles out of Ingleton, right on the path to get to the 3 peaks or the falls. Excellent host and the barn conversion is done to an extremely high standard with absolutely everything you could need and lots of helpful information. We were almost hoping for the weather to be colder so that we could try the wood burner!😊we would definitely return x

Sweetcorn small but sweet

GemmaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Had a great couple of days here. Great central location with lots of pubs and places to eat. Easy to drive into The Dales for walks and Heather was a great host. Sweetcorn is a clean and cosy flat on the main road, pub directly next door and one across the road, both dog friendly 🙂. Car park is really close as well which was handy.
A well-equipped kitchen is visible through an open door, showcasing modern gray cabinetry and white tiled backsplashes. A spacious sink and wooden shelves are observed, with plants adding a touch of greenery. Colorful patterned tiles lead into the room, enhancing the overall design.
