Vacation rentals in Katsouni

The villa we stayed (Paleokastro) in was just perfect. Lovely and peaceful view of the lush garden and sea in the distance from a spacious veranda. Zhulieta who manages the property could not have been more helpful with local recommendations and her cheerful personality added to us feeling welcome. The unit is fully equipped and they provided us with a welcome package of cake, coffee pods, wine and apricots from the garden. The Cocomat bedding was excellent for a good nights sleep. Well located to explore the island and close to the beach and dining options in Avlemonas. We highly recommend this for a wonderful stay in charming Kythira.

There is no word to describe the kindness of Georgios. He welcomed us in his home and explained everything. At the departure he even drove more than an hour to the port to bring us the passeports that we forgot in the house. I clearly recommend Georgios house!

Very good stay with Vasiliki, who is extremely welcoming and charming. Everything is very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Again, thank you for the jam and homemade cakes.

We had a wonderful stay in Stella’s beautiful house, the perfect base for a few days exploring Kythira. An oasis of calm and serenity, the house has everything you need all artfully laid out, a mere stone’s throw from the town square. Stella was communicative throughout and gave us some fantastic recommendations on where to go and what to eat. We only wish we could have stayed longer…

The apartment was new, clean with great views and a nice balcony. It is located in a small settlement which is peaceful so perfect if you want to avoid grouded noisy places but at the same time is very close to Kapsali and Xora where you can find restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Kalliopi is a wonderful host, polite, helpfull and also gave us a farewell gift with local products. Overall we enjoyed our stay and was a great choice to explore the island.

The house is nice, clean, and welcoming. Nearby (within walking distance) there is everything you may need: the best bakery on the island, a small supermarket with a bit of everything, a small pharmacy, and a gas station. Joshua is the best host you could find, always available for anything and everything! Very grateful, it was a great experience.

We had a wonderful week in Chora , looked after by host Eva like we were family . The location , view and amenities were everything we’d hoped for on our first week on Kythira . You could close up the blinds and windows and doors at night and sleep well even with the bar downstairs that opens till the early hours of the morning . That said if you’re a light sleeper and don’t like the busy pedestrian streets with lots happening this place would not be for you . For us it was 5 stars 🤩, if we felt like a gelato at 10pm we walked out the door and into the shops , we could sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the Aegean Sea with a glass of wine . So many options . Thanks Eva it was perfect 👌.

Katerina is a fantastic host. Someone was on hand to welcome us when we arrived and provided lots of great recommendations. Katrina was responsive and very helpful. We loved the house. It is simple but beautiful and is in the most amazing location. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you!!
