My Home is your home in Leelanau county MI

PaulRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Cathy was a great hostess, and was helpful and friendly, without being obtrusive. Lisa had clear communication and fast responses to my questions. Locations was lovely and as described, makung for a great place to stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. My children loved walking through Cathy's garden and looking for chipmunks and birds. I would absolutely recommend others consider Cathy's place as a place to stay in the area. Thank you Cathy! :)

Hughthir's Retreat in The Woods

StevenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Hughthir’s property is one of the most gorgeous and comfortable settings I have stayed in a long time. The house is beautifully constructed and feels just like home — full of love and care. It is tucked away in the woods but not far from all that the Leelenau peninsula has to offer. I couldn’t recommend staying here more!

Wonderful location between Traverse City and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Linda was a great, communicative host. Fantastic space - "best Airbnb ever," said two of the guests in our party. Hope to come back for a future trip!

Camping at it’s best.

Todd And AnnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My wife and I stayed at Johnny’s place over Memorial weekend. Johnny and his wife were very accommodating, friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. The camper was immaculately clean and provides all the essentials and beyond that you don’t get at any hotel or cabin rental such as cleaning materials, dinnerware, picnic table, fire pit, numerous sleeping accommodations, pet area, etc. You also have approximately 1/2 an acre of open space in front of the camper for pets, yard games, camp fires, etc. You can’t find a better location to stay if you are interested in visiting all that the Traverse City/Leelanau area has to offer. It is centrally located to all the major attractions. This place provided a peaceful, comfortable, and quiet home base for our visit to the area. We were always excited to go “home” after our excursions to area attractions. Thank you Johnny and family. We greatly appreciate that you share this little piece of paradise with others!

New Beautifully Updated Home with Gameroom!

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I am a woman of words and I am at a loss to describe how wonderful this home and our stay was. I knew the moment I saw the listing that it’d be perfect for my husband and I, our three young children (3,4,7) , and my parents visiting from Florida. The location is between several desirable destinations and the site itself is serene and peaceful. While I love words, I am a visual designer and I must say this home was like Christmas for me- every detail thoughtfully and elegantly considered. It pairs my favorite things- form and function, nature and comfort. The pine trees made you feel connected and the amenities were beyond cozy. From the cookware to the dining recommendations, the books and records (!), we savored it all. And our kids felt more than at home as well! The basement was an indoor playground for them to enjoy their brisk spring break. Thank you for making this such a special trip we will recount for many years! Highly recommend.
