Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

It is near the picturesque village of Svartå. We are close to Tiveden nature park. And directly on hiking, cycling and canoe routes. Berglagsleden route is a well-known hiking route of 280 km right along the house. We overlook a lake where you can enjoy fishing no fishing license needed. Swimming, boating, canoeing and paddleboarding. Within walking distance, there is a cafe restaurant, supermarket and pastry shop. We are surrounded by free space in the forest. Lakefront, modern and newly-renovated accommodation with its own terrace and garden. 700m to Lake Vänern (EU's largest lake), 500m to nature reserve Hammars udde which offers beautiful nature, rich bird life, nice hiking trails, burial grounds from the Iron Age and a Viking Age "domarring" (ring-shaped stone wall). You will also find Hammarö Archipelago Museum on the outskirts of the headland, which offers a unique collection of objects from the old Vänern fishing and an exhibition about life on the lighthouses in Lake Vänern.

Private parking space with room for 3 cars. Directly adjacent to the lake and 12 km by car to the large square in Karlstad. Small oak with electric motor is available if desired. If you have your own boat with you, you can put it by the jetty. In summer, you can borrow a smaller boat with an electric motor (see picture)
