Great place to stay... any time again

The apartment was quick to find due to the good directions, arrival / departure were relatively flexible. The amenities were good, overall the apartment was very spacious in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Very good mattresses!!! Also advantageous were exterior roller shutters on all windows. The private terrace invites you to use it in good weather. The communication with Frank was very friendly and good, simply uncomplicated. Requests and inquiries were responded to immediately. The entire complex looked very well maintained and - despite the proximity to the highway - very quiet. We will certainly be back!

Marta is an amazing host. She is kind, responsive and caring. This is a wonderful place with great accommodations. Unique place to stay from the first time I got out of the car. Lots of trees, greenery, house entrance with open swing doors, lots of paintings, smelling flowers and cozy furnished rooms with everything needed. Wau

Highly recommend! A beautiful apartment in an idyllic area; the beautiful and wide garden of course contributes a lot to the feeling of well-being. Sabine was always available, friendly and very accommodating. The apartment was spotless and clean. I look forward to coming back soon!

Great apartment, spacious living room, large bathroom with the best shower cubicle ever. Was there in June. Floor heating not on. Apartment completely tiled with small, clean carpets in the right places. Space for wardrobe, hangers in the closet and also additional small parts divider, shoe cabinet spacious. Hooks in the bathroom and towel rack, good lighting, good exhaust system. Battery-powered floor vacuum cleaner at hand, good. All necessary cleaning utensils, cloths, cleaning agents, garbage bags. Everything is plentiful and easy to find. Good bed, good blackout. You have to arrange the bedding but okay. Good windows + view. Large TV available with Lan (but I haven't tested it). Internet and WiFi are good. Enough seating available and dining table in front of kitchen. Enough dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups. SENSEO, toaster, microwave, kettle all in tiptop condition. I only missed an iron (now available) and an extractor hood. Kitchen good! 2 CERAN, fridge + freezer, sink + dishwasher + utensil.

I was staying with Francesco and Michaela for one night as part of a multi-day bike trip. Francesco welcomed me very kindly and is just a super nice person. The apartment is top. It is actually a complete apartment with cooking facilities, a living room, a large bedroom and a great bathroom. It was all very clean and well organized. I immediately felt totally comfortable and would definitely come back when I'm in Essen again. Thank you again to Francesco for the great accommodation and the nice contact.

Our time in Vera's little loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. Vera's warm nature made us feel right at home. The accommodation is super clean and designed with creativity, love and craftsmanship visible in all corners. It is really very cozy and because of the lots of upcycling and the beautiful location exceptional and close to the nature. Despite the rain, we sat in the covered outdoor area for a long time and watched the cats and ducks and listened to the crackling rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Through Vera's good description and reliable accessibility, you will find the hidden cottage very well. We will be happy to come back ☀️ Best regards from Cristian and Venice

We've been to this place before. And we will be happy to come back whenever we are in the area again. Everything just fits. The accommodation is exactly as described. Beds are very comfortable. There is an information folder about the region and a lot of reading material (cookbooks, novels, travel literature from many countries). Communication works perfectly for us. In front of the apartment door there is a small table with two chairs. Perfect for smokers. An ashtray is also available. We can't think of anything we could criticize.

Super great place to stay that is even better than it looks in the pictures. The apartment has a great location, very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but you can still get to Xanten or Sonnsbeck quickly. This quiet location is ideal for a few relaxing days and especially if you want to have a quiet New Year's Eve with your dog. Peter and Hella are also super nice hosts! This place can only be recommended!

Just a great apartment. We were there with two children and had plenty of room. The apartment was very clean. The area was quiet so we could sleep well at night. And the kitchen was also great with a coffee machine.

A very large and super equipped apartment in a good location with two very special highlights: A hot tub - and a private cinema with four comfortable armchairs, Netflix access, large screen and great sound. The location is also great: In a few minutes walk, you can be at the nearest subway station as well as a shopping center, yet very quiet. I was there by bike, and the apartment was the perfect base for trips to the Zollverein mine, the Nordsternpark in Gelsenkirchen and other interesting places. Communication with Lucas was great, fast response times and help with questions/problems at any time. If I'm drawn to the area again, I'd love to stay here as a guest again!

Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully designed and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy, the lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. My mother and I have certainly rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. We will definitely repeat

The apartment is very spacious with high ceilings and large windows. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, freshness of the bed linen and the comfortable bed. The blinds in the bedroom were very useful, thanks to them I was able to sleep. Good pressure in the shower also pleased. The kitchen was disappointing. There was no dishwasher, although it was listed in the amenities. We were looking for a place with a fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook during our five-day stay. A kitchen without a dishwasher is a thing of the past, half a day was spent washing dishes - this is not an option for those who intend to cook food themselves. The refrigerator was even more disappointing - it was slightly cooler than the air in the kitchen. No freezer was found at all. To cool the drinks, we turned the regulator to the maximum, then loaded the purchases, and by the evening all the products were frozen. We had to throw out all the greens, vegetables and buy again. At the same time, we had to buy a sharp knife and a grater. If you eat exclusively outside the house, the location is excellent, a bunch of cafes. With parking, you'll be lucky.

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The hot tub is a real hit, everything is lovingly decorated and clean. We will definitely be back.

It is very quiet and the amenities were very good. The hot tub in particular was a great offer. Since there were three of us there, it was also very good that there is an additional toilet in the apartment. Smart TV and fast, working Internet have also been provided. In the kitchen, everything that is part of the standard equipment was also there. Klaus and Marianne were very nice and welcomed us very hospitably. I highly recommend staying with the two.

The apartment is great! Everything is very clean, the amenities are great! Just everything you need! I only had to take half of my things from home, because everything was available. Whether in the kitchen or the bathroom. We don't need to talk about the bathroom. It's pure luxury. You can always find a parking spot nearby. It's quiet. Nice neighbors. Public transportation is nearby. You can get anywhere fast. And you also have shopping nearby. Dirk was very nice and always available. Everything wonderful.
