A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Ruokailuun tarvittavat astiat ja välineet. Vuoteet valmiina, sis. lakanat ja pyyhkeet. Käytössänne on oma suihkutila ja pesuallas sekä kompostikäymälä. Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Vuonna 2022 remontoitu huoneisto entisen kyläkoulun suojaisassa päädyssä. Huoneistossa tupakeittiö, avoin makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone. Makuupaikka neljälle. Parisänky makuuhuoneessa ja levitettävä sohva olohuoneessa. Ulkosauna lämpenee lisämaksusta. Asunto sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella, 8km keskustasta. Muu osa rakennuksesta on majoittajan omassa käytössä, heidän puolellaan pihaa tepastelee koiria ja kanoja. Pihalla on tilaa oleskella ja esim. grillata. Sopii hyvin myös lapsiperheille.

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. Good 4G connection!

Peaceful Finnish cottage in the heartland of Saimaa, only 11 kms away from the town centre of Savonlinna. You can enjoy total serenity and swim on a private beach. The compact house has a fold-out sofa downstairs and two beds upstairs. A spacious sauna is a joy to relax in and has washing amenities. A large terrace has a barbecue grill and a dining table, where you can enjoy stunning views of the lake while enjoying your food. The outhouse is situated next to the main building.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Palasimme jo toista kertaa juhannuksen viettoon lammastilalle 7 hengen seurueella. Rantasauna tarjosi mainiot puitteet ajanvietolle ja maalaismaisemissa lampaiden määkiessä mieli lepäsi. Asiointi sujui mutkattomasti. Voimme lämpimästi suositella tätä kohdetta rauhalliseen ja rentoon ajanviettoon isommallakin seurueella.

Kiitos paljon tästä elämyksestä! Majoitus oli todella toimiva kokonaisuus ja biljardipöytä toi iloa sisällä. Kaikki lapsemme todella innoissaan kaikista eläimistä, joita pääsivät ihastelemaan, syöttämään (lampaita voikukan lehdillä) ja paijaamaan - hienoa, että yksi lapsemme pääsi itse tilan emännän kanssa päästä jakamaan unelmaansa maatilaelämästä. Puoliso pääsi myös nauttimaan rauhassa puusaunan löylyistä. Ihana, kaunis maaseutumiljöö. Mukavasti tekemistä lapsille myös pihassa. Kaikki toimi hyvin ja voimme ehdottomasti suositella muillekin!

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in dieser schönen Villa und allem was dazugehört. Tolle Villa, super Austattung, die beiden Saunen sind hevorragend. Alles modern und sehr sauber. Die Lage und das Grundstück am See sind wunderschön.

Vi har varit 3 generationer, farmor, farfar med barn o barnbarn som är 3, 8, 10, 13, o 16 år. Ett slott utbrast ett av barnen! Gott om plats ute och inne, en liten sandstrand till den minsta, brygga, båt o kajaker och en fotbollsplan till de större barnen! Solstolar till farmor o farfar. Vi har haft en härlig vistelse och ALLA i familjen är nöjda.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! It’s stylish, spotless, and very well-equipped, everything I needed was right here. The views of the lake are absolutely breathtaking, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Timo is lovely host, responding quickly, friendly and helpful. I’d love to return someday! 100% recommended.

Kaisa's cabin near Juva is robust, well designed, and cheerful. It's also very close to the water. The lake is a dream to swim in, we were all alone in the water, and while there are some neighbors on both sides, they are sufficiently far away to feel that the space is private. It was easy to find the place, due to good instructions and clear signs on the roads. And Kaisa is an excellent communicator, spelling out very clearly what makes Finnish summer cabins special (no running water, for example), what to expect, and what to bring along. We enjoyed walking around Juva too. Highly recommended!

Kohde oli erittäin siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu. Kaunis ja rauhallinen pihapiiri. Isäntä oli paikalla avaamassa oven ja kertoi paikan historiasta. Ihana yllätys oli myös paikalliset karjalanpiirakat. Viestintä toimi hyvin - vastausta ei tarvinnut odotella. Sijainti loistava. Kolmen hengen porukalle löytyi jokaiselle oma makuuhuone. Iso suositus tunnelmallista majoittumista etsiville!
