This place was awesome for my partner and our two dogs. We had plans in Traverse City but decided to stay in, cook, and take in the countryside. We definitely want to stay here again. Host was awesome, responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend. 10/10

Spring Escape! Hot Tub 5min to Torch Lake & Trails

JackRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Girlfriend and I took a little 2 night vacation to escape from the city and get back in the woods. This was the best place we could have picked. Everything in the description was accurate - and it was a lot bigger than the pictures make it seem. You can easily see how much time and dedication they put into making this spot unique and unforgettable, it REALLY shows. We had the chance to meet a couple fuzzy and feathered friends thanks to the amazing host, which was the cherry on top. Truly down to earth, wonderful people and a wonderful trip, we will DEFINITELY be back in the future.

Harry's Hideaway

Responsive and quick to help after an issue with the lockbox (likely user error on my part). Very friendly and amenable to a booking adjustment two days prior. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cabin on Manistee Lake

RitaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay! Everything was as described/expected. Loved being on the lake. (we didn't have great weather to be able to spend time outside to enjoy it, but it is beautiful). Only snafu was when someone hit a pole and we were without electricity for an hour or so, but that wasn't the hosts fault! We recommend this property. Also....check out the Yak farm nearby!

Hot Tub/Game Room/Pool Table/Lake Views!

ChristineRating, 5 starstoday
Our group of six adults really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Lake Barnhouse. We rented side by sides from Rippin Razor rentals in St Helen & they delivered them and picked them up which is perfect because the trails are close by. We loved all the choices of fun things to do including the boat we decided to rent for our stay. Downtown Grayling is close by and the food at Ray's BBQ & Paddle Board was really good if your not feeling like cooking but if you do want to cook the kitchen is well equipped. There was even some oil, spices, foil & storage bags in the kitchen which was nice. We mostly ate out but we did cook hotdogs on the grill one night & enjoyed a bonfire afterwards during our 4 night stay. Nick was an excellent host very responsive & helpful. If in the area again with a group we would stay here again.

Boardman Bungalow hot tub, kayaking, fishing

AngelinaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My husband and I came here for our 20th Anniversary get away. We wanted something small, and private and it was all that and more! From the moment we pulled up, the property was tidy and so was the home. It was small and super cozy which made it very enjoyable. The rooms were just perfect; we appreciated all the attention to detail. The beds/mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets and pillows were of great quality, and so were the blankets! The indoor fireplace was so stinking cute, I loved using it! The kitchen, pantry and bathroom were stocked with all the necessitates and then some. The hot tub was a great touch, it was clean and very enjoyable, especially being outside surrounded by nature. The sound of the river water was also so peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the seating area, that was the ideal way to enjoy a good book. Barb and Art were a pleasure to communicate with. They were quick to respond and that made things go very smoothly. We had an amazing time!
