Simple, comfortable, family-friendly, 1920s beach cottage in Clovelly, 100m from Fish Hoek beach with life saver, shark nets and cafe, 10 mins walk from cool Kalk Bay with harbour, great restaurants and shops. Situated on edge of nature reserve, surfing and golf within 2 miles, CT city 20 minutes drive. Wraparound verandah, large beautiful garden. Secure, accessible (road and rail), and well set up for loadshedding (battery backup for wifi, outside gas cooking station, recharging light bulbs).

Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Walk from the house up the mountain or to Kalk Bay harbour, shops & restaurants - or stay at home and enjoy the pool, hot tub & fireplaces. It is private and secluded, ideal for those seeking a getaway.

It has narrow cobbled streets and small, independent shops selling clothing and homeware, coffee and ice cream. It's cheerful, colourful, and crammed with places to eat and drink really well, pretty inexpensively too. Walking paths take you up the mountain or to the tidal pools and beaches.
