Cottage vacation rentals in Kalamunda

So pleased with our stay! Such a great location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, so so lovely to be able to bring our dog along with us and a wonderful very patient and friendly host who very graciously helped us out when we were silly enough to lock ourselves out! Thank you!!

We had a great couple of nights stay in the Wagon-Lit. Situated up high, you meander your way up quite a steep path and cobbled steps through beautiful garden surroundings to the unique converted railway carriage that looks out west through the forest trees. We were 2 single adults and a 1 year old puppy. It was the puppy’s first experience in such a setting and we all loved being able to walk/run free around the private trails and gardens. Oh and being able to have a dip in the jacuzzi was a lovely luxury during these cooler winter days. Thank you Junko and your team for providing such a unique memorable experience.

The house - This was a wonderful house for a group, which included a large dining area, small outdoor grass yard and separate living area in a cottage built in 1901. There is air conditioning throughout and a well-appointed kitchen. There's a large shower, bath and washing machine. Location - Right outside is a gorgeous cafe and small grocery store (Wholefood Circus), bottle shop and bus stop with frequent service (number 24). The larger supermarkets and the restaurant strip on Rokeby Road are a pleasant 15 minute walk away. Daglish Station is a 15 minute walk or a short ride on the 24 bus. We hired bikes from About Bike Hire in East Perth (10 km away) and road on bike paths all the way to and from the house in about 40 minutes (except for the last little bit on quiet suburban streets). We enjoyed running through King's Park, along the river & through the grounds of UWA. The hosts - Everything worked out great, from booking and check-in to departure. We will stay again.

We stayed a week at Angela's place and it was so perfect we are returning next month for another 6 nights. We found we could relax so easily there - just watching the wildlife on the lake - the ducks, swans and fish. It is an area were not familiar with - so exploring the interesting walks along the Murray River and the Estuary was amazing. There are some terrific eateries close by and Angela had lots of info about the local attractions, restaurants and pubs with menus. The house was just as described - very comfy with lots and lots of very welcome extras. We took our 14 year old Lakeland Terrier with us and he loved being there - so thank you so much Angela for giving people, and their dogs, the opportunity to be in this fabulous location. Julie

love the nod to the heritage nature of the home. perfect location with walking distance to everything you need. great host and grwat enclosed space for fur babies with lots of room for outside zoomies. some fans in each of the rooms during summer would help a little as it can get warm but thats minor. thank you so much

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is amazing, walkable to the beach and nice cafés, bakeries and restaurants. It was perfect with our 1-year old baby. Claire was very responsive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

The cottage was perfect for us and our 18 year old little dog,very secure. Everything was provided ,we didn’t want for anything. Perfect location ,close to the beach and local shops. We would stay again.

A lovely spot, overlooking the avocado & mango orchard. Lots of space, was great for the kids, and perfect for us getting ready for our wedding. The kids loved being able to watch the kangaroos over the road at dawn/dusk. John was lovely, dropped by as we were checking out with a box of mangos for the kids. Had a great stay. The lockbox made check-in super easy, and the place was spotless. Everything was well maintained, and the attention to cleanliness was appreciated. The host’s communication was excellent—quick responses and helpful information made the experience even smoother. Highly recommend for a hassle-free stay.

Siobhan’s place was perfect for what we were looking for, a peaceful rural escape with a pool for us, the daughter and the grandkids, the apartment had everything that you would need for the stay with plenty towels etc provided.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cottage. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the beach and to the numerous cafes and restaurants on South Terrace. It’s also a pleasant walk into the heart of Fremantle. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, and the backyard was a real bonus - spacious and perfect for relaxing. The host was excellent and always available and easy to contact. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous little cottage surrounded by natural bush with views overlooking the city. Loved our stay in this cosy quirky house in the hills. It includes comfortable furnishings & indoor & outdoor toys for the kids. Highly recommend this cute cottage

Apart from the glorious character of the place… (particularly loved the wooden floors!) and the amazing location, it felt like a real home, it was ALL the little things, good toiletries, different milks, coffee pods & tea bags etc. The different outside spaces were amazing…

My second time staying there now and it feels like home away from home.

Trudy’s Cosy Cottage in Cottesloe is a great place to stay in Perth. It is really well located, near the railway station, wonderful restaurants, and shops. And it’s just a short walk to the beautiful Cottesloe Beach. The furnishing and beds are comfortable, and, being located in a quiet residential street, it’s very peaceful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay & it suited our need. Reid was easy to communicate with. The house a older style & the kitchen & bathroom could do with a upgrade but both where very clean & functional.

We have a great stay at this lovely home which was perfect for our family with two toddlers. 5min walk from train station, supermarket and coffee strip, while also walkable to nearby playgrounds. The house itself was full of character and is on a big block with a great front and back lawn for the kids to run around. There is also a great living room, toys, books and board games supplied for the young ones and not so young ones. We will be back!

The Cottage was exactly how it was presented, clean,new,had everything I needed.Both Kate and Michelle responded to my txts very quickly and were very helpful.I strongly recommend (the cottage)walking distance to the shopping centre and a short drive to hit golf balls and to play.Really enjoyed my stay.

Great accommodation with character, local bars and restaurants within walking distance, would definitely stay here again
