Vacation rentals in Kalamazoo

One of my favorite AirBnb visits ever. Country cabin feel with modern conveniences and lux hotel touches, like the decor, toiletries provided, nicely rolled and displayed towels and blankets. We loved having the property to ourselves for solitude and privacy. We loved every attention to detail. Very clean. Peaceful. My favorite things: The beautiful cedar interior; the new kitchen sponge; the room darkening shades; the fun assortment of games; the candy, snacks and ketchup, mustard, and mayo provided; the chain lock on the front door that gave me added peace of mind; the yard games; the swing outside; the fully stocked and prepped fire pit; the walking trail through the forest (it loops around so whichever side you start on brings you back to the yard); the outlets next to the beds; 2 bathrooms; and the second light in the bathroom was nice and bright enough to apply my makeup. Only suggestion would be to provide a bucket or shovel to help put out the fire. Five stars plus!

Great little getaway spot! Outside of town and the space and fenced in pool/hot tub area right outside the sliding door makes it feel like a personal oasis. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond with any questions but also gave you space and made the place feel private. There are three super friendly outdoor cats who come to visit. It was a little chilly for our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool to its full potential, but it is a beautiful pool and will be a perfect getaway in the hotter months.

what a beautiful place! The house is nicely done and well equipped. We loved spending a day on the lake with the pontoon. In addition, John and Kevin have two kayaks at the house that we enjoyed using. And we spent our evenings sitting at the fireplace and looking onto the lake. We had the best time here, thanks for this great place!

Affordable option for a quick Anniversary/Mothers day get away. We are old campers so pretty versed in happenings in a camper, lol! We lost power for a bit (no fault of the host) and instantly Scott had provided a generator for our fridge food :) IF your native to MI you "see" all the building going on and power losses are happening in these areas occasionally. VERY laid back hospitable hosts-fun to talk to and our annoying little dogs didn't want to come home. The trails were just enough to keep them sniffing and tired each day. Camper had a lot of nice options like games, puzzles, and yummy oatmeal with plenty of outdoor gadgets for cooking. Scott and his wife were really helpful and sweet. Thanks again for our stay!

We had an amazing time! We brought our own poles, but there some provided. Fishing was awesome right off the dock! Big yard for yard games, did not get on the water because of the wind but kayaks and a fishing boat were available. A great little shallow area perfect for littles to play, and we plan on coming back with some. Inside the cabin was beautiful, we love the rustic, cozy feel, although you want for nothing. So many extras provided. The hosts were available to answer any questions promptly. We will definitely book again!

We gathered at Sheena‘s place to celebrate my daughter‘s graduation for medical school. We had a party of seven and we fit perfectly in her home. Everything worked, it was quiet at night, and we were a short drive from restaurants, coffee and anything we needed. However, the best part of The Eddy, is how communicative and responsive Sheena was to all of our requests and questions. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone interested in housing a larger group in Kalamazoo Michigan.

Had a lovely time staying at this cozy little cottage with my husband and baby. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans, etc. We loved picture window and view from the bed as well as all the interesting details of the decor. I think this property is likely very scenic most of the year as it has lots of vegetation. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway. Host if very nice and though we didn’t get to talk much, I’m guessing based on all the details of the tiny house, is a very interested person to chat with.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

Aaron’s place was very clean! Perfect for what we needed! It seems to be a quiet neighborhood and if came back through I would definitely stay at Aaron’s again

This is the perfect place for relaxation with the family. Plenty of room for activities in the yard. The kayaks were awesome. We launched from the lake and used the bikes to retrieve our vehicle and it worked out perfectly. We spend most of our time outside, by the water and fire pit. Great place!

We will be back next time we are in the area!

We had a lovely stay. Perfect place to rest our heads after a long drive. It is a farm cottage not super fancy. It had everything that we needed. Our dogs enjoyed the outdoor space. We enjoyed watching the deers running around the fields.

This place was just what we needed. We moved across the country and needed somewhere to stay while our new home was being repaired. It had everything we needed and more. At first I was bummed it wasn’t fenced in, but then I realized the property was so huge and private that I was able to let me dogs out to use the bathroom (supervised of course) off leash. They loved it and so did I. We plan to make a trip out this summer to because we think it’ll be even more beautiful in the summer.

The place is GORGEOUS. Extremely spacious & as a reader I really dug the window reading nook. We got to see some super cool moths when we arrived & their little eggs. The place had a nice outside seating area which was where we ate most meals & had our morning coffee. It was extremely serene.

This was the cutest and coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It’s perfect for a weekend get away! I highly recommend!!!! There is a restaurant that is within walking distance and the food is delicious!!!

Pure Michigan is exactly what it stands for. So is the Stepping Stone Lakehouse. This property is right near 3 Lakes and a Beautiful Park with lots of things to do around the area. We used the house for a family gathering because our nephew graduated from Portage North High School. The outdoor patio was perfect for us to sit outside and catch up with family and to reminisce and make new memories. 💯 would recommend this home.

Four of us stayed here and was very comfortable. It was within driving distance to everything we wanted to do.

Stan and Deb made us delicious blueberry muffins for breakfast (that accommodated my food allergies, might I add!) and left them in the space before we got there. Very communicative and they made us feel right at home. The walking trails on the back part of the property were great for bird watching. Everything was spotless and the bedroom is absolutely beautiful. Love the nature decor

Such a peaceful, relaxing, comfy home with a hottub to enjoy during chilly nights. I slept like a baby in the bed due to the mattress being so comfortable.

The Cabin Off 39 was exactly as described, and shown in AirBnB pictures. Beverly was easy to communicate with and extremely responsive to our inquiries - including sharing suggestions for local restaurants days before check-in which allowed us to plan ahead. The location was amazing! - easy to find, private wooded setting (various birds, chipmunks, rabbits, red squirrels abound), beautiful landscaping and a short drive into town (3mi to Pumpkinvine Nature Trail for those that may be on a biking trip). The decor inside and outdoors was inviting, chic and comfortable. There were snacks and bottles of cold water upon arrival which was welcome after our drive. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor shower or fire pit due to weather but expect to do so next time. A perfect spot for exploring Indiana's Amish countryside. We will be back!

Only stayed for one night stop over. Place is as described and comfortable. Views of Lake beautiful. Wished could have stayed longer.
