Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kaipara Harbour

We had the most fantastic time staying at Villino. It really did feel like a proper restful holiday away. The reality was better than the pictures and we had a lovely long lunch just next door at the vineyard and walked down the road for an easy swim at the beach. The food and communications made everything so easy. Really hope we can stay again sometime.

A spectacular experience for my partner and I. We wished we could have booked more nights! The scenery, the spa pool and just everything about this place was perfect. A nice getaway from the noise back in Auckland. The host was very accommodating. We definitely will be coming back! 5+ Star rating from us.

Beautiful home located above Onetangi with incredible views and an amazing deck to sit and enjoy the sunshine on! Full kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds, hot showers, and relaxing spa pool all made the stay so luxurious. Would recommend taking cards or a board game for evenings or rainy winter days.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

The house was exactly as described. Excellent outdoor hosting facilities. Short walk to restaurants and very handy to the golf course.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on the water’s edge. The location was absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and so close to nature. Our host was super friendly and full of helpful local tips. We especially loved the walk to the nearby surf beach and grabbing a morning coffee at the local campground. A perfect spot to relax and explore!

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at Serenity. it's even better than the photos. the stunning view just can't be captured in a shot. Very comfortable, stylish and well appointed. Michael was a great host.. friendly, responsive and accommodating. thanks!

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

The cottage is beautiful, private & serene. The landscaping, views and indoor and outdoor furnishings complement the look and feel and you can’t help but appreciate the space and the environment. It’s clean, the kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need. There are shops only a few mins drive up the road but you really do think and feel like you are secluded from hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this place to a couple looking for a private getaway or someone looking to unwind. Thank you Nicky and family

Such a beautiful property. Was the perfect place for our wedding party to get ready for the day and to take some amazing pictures in the garden. Just a few smaller details would have been nice like having tea towels or another sheet set for the roll out bed, but very minor.

What an amazing and Beautiful home, so many things to do, from pool table, pinball machine , big movie projector where it was so relaxing with the kids to snuggle in front of fire place. Daisy is of the best Host I have come across, so responsive to all messages, also she is very accommodating to requests we asked of her. Definitely recommend Daisy beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a place with all ammenities, feel real homely inside & even outdoors with pool & spa , trampoline for children & swing, big lawn outside where kids or family groups can run freely. This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back! Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay here at Mick’s, it was serene and private with beautiful views of the hills and bush. The hot tub was to die for and I have had so many people asking me where this beautiful kitchen was! Lovely lovely stay, will definitely be back and a few of my friends are already planning to stay here hehe

A Magical retreat! The bathtub under the stars was pure bliss & the fire pit outside was the perfect spot to cozy up and enjoy the night 🔥. And the bed? Cloud-like comfort 😴. A truly unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!"

I had the most incredible weekend stay at Mahina Treehouse in Mangawhai. The space is absolutely stunning and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape to explore Mangawhai. The entire space felt so peaceful and private also great to have the Pizza Oven and Spa. Kiki was a wonderful host — clear communication and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Idyllic little setting, beautiful place surrounded by nature. Walk into onetangi or up and along the footpath to the Heke, Postage Stamp and Tanatalus. Hut was perfect, loved the climb up to the bed and window looking out into the trees. Hot tub was such a treat, and there’s a gas bbq. Everything you need, would highly recommend! Hosts were communicative, really accommodating and flexible.
