Very unique experience. You are actually right in a jungle. With that you have some animals, insects, and noise. We had a small mishap with the ceiling when we first arrived but the hosts quickly took care of it and upgraded our rooms. The jungle rooms are a bit louder at night with the frogs and smaller compared to the other sites in the facility. Overall cool place and great hosts

We loved our stay at Caroline and Scott’s cabin—it felt like we were staying in a botanical garden! The property is absolutely beautiful. We especially enjoyed the expansive front porch, the wood-burning stove, and the hot tub surrounded by nature. We’re already talking about another trip to the Big Island and staying with Caroline and Scott again. They were incredibly friendly hosts, and their rentals (both the cabin and the cottage) are conveniently located near everything the Kona Coast has to offer. We think their vacation rental is a great value!

Manta Soul was a beautiful place to stay with lots of thoughtful amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and eating breakfast in the garden outside the communal kitchen. The property is very close to lots of beaches and other fun things to do in the South Kona area.

This place could not have been more cozy, beautiful, and romantic. It was the PERFECT honeymoon getaway! The cool mountain air and clear starry skies were a dream and perfect conditions for hot tubbing. I can't even explain the ethereal feeling of seeing the fog roll in and hearing the beautiful forest bird sounds. With many beaches to choose from our favorite was Kua Bay which was 30 minutes away. The experience was made better thanks to the umbrella, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and beach towels provided. The blankets were plush, the bed was cozy, and the vibe was calm. Can't forget to shout out Sundara for being an amazing host and giving us clear instructions and fun little welcome gifts! The memories thanks to this place will stick with us forever!

This cabin was a nice place to stay while we spent time in Kona. We appreciated that it felt isolated while still being close to everything we wanted to do. Shucheng was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Belinda's Whale Song Cottage was amazing! Our view from inside the cottage was breath taking as well as the patio views. The geckos were fun to hangout with. We wish to come back again some day. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend staying with her. Mahalo!

We enjoyed our time at the open air cabin. Our sleep was much more in line with the sun, and we enjoyed waking up with the birds. Beautiful view of Kealakekua Bay and the sunset. It's a steep walk to Manini beach, but a quick drive when you're feeling lazy. The hosts have lots of good recommendations for activities and food. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were able to cook every day. Not for you if you have a fear of insects, geckos, or grass spiders. There weren't too many insects or spiders inside, but you will see a few for sure. The mosquitos seemed to stay outside and weren't too plentiful in general. Hot water was inconsistent, but the air is always warm so this wasn't too big of a problem. We brought travel fans for the nightstands to stay a little cooler at night. The room is equipped with a tower fan and an overhead fan in the central part of the room. Great location and great place to stay in nature.

My wife and I had a wonderful 9 day honeymoon exploring the big island. Beautiful sunsets, spacious accommodations and friendly hosts awaited us whenever we returned from our adventures. Close proximity to local beach, shopping, and restaurants made things easy. Could not have worked out better for what we wanted. Thank you Deb and Bob for being so hospitable. We hope to visit again someday.

What a treat to stay at Jeffrey and Heide's place. You can tell the cabin has been built and decorated with love and attention, it's set in the most beautiful private garden, and Jeffrey and Heide were such kind and generous hosts. We had 5 nights in the cabin and loved it all. Every morning, we'd have breakfast in the garden, eating eggs from their hens, and listen to the frogs singing in the evening after our daily adventures. We thought the cabin was a great location. You need a car to get there but it's well situated to go north or south on the island, for whatever activities you fancy doing that day. This is such a great little gem of a place, and what Airbnb was made for. Thank you, Jeffrey and Heide!
