Condo vacation rentals in Kailua Bay

We loved the location. Everything was in walking distance regarding food and shopping. The host, Yun, was very responsive and provided detailed information. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Wendy’s place was amazing for us. We loved watching the surfers in the morning while we drank our coffee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! One day we took an uber to the beach and used the chairs and umbrella. They were great! My husband is a larger man and fit nicely in their beach chairs. Another thing to note is there location. It’s walkable to town but down the road so you get that peace and quiet. We had an amazing time and would recommend staying here!

We loved staying here! The bed in the bedroom is comfortable, the pullout sleeper wasn’t terrible (for what it is), bathroom and towels were wonderful, and we saw sea turtles from the lanai!

This is a nice studio condo in a great location! Easy access to most of the activities in the Kona area being within a 30 minute drive and many restaurants and shops within walking/biking distance. Condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked with basic needs and the common areas are a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean views and sunsets. Overall a great experience and would happily recommend and/or use again!

Excellent location for all you may want to do in Kona. Beautiful view of ocean. All the amenities made our stay extra special. Davide has thought of everything. Sand toys, snorkels, cooler, telescope for dolphin watching, he has it all. The Green Flash Coffee right next store was super convenient to go to for breakfast every morning and was delicious. Would stay again.

Our stay here was perfect. Location was amazing right by the beach at a peaceful community, great for viewing sunrise/sunset. The place was just as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Amy's place was just the perfect condo for us. It had a great unobstructed view the ocean. and the sounds of the ocean along with the evening breeze wafting through the unit at night was heavenly. Having breakfast on the lanai was a treat each morning of our stay. Very private end unit on the second floor assured privacy with no one being able to look in or walk by. Quiet and away from the bustle of the tourist district. (except for one noisy Coqui frog in the bushes nearby). I chased it away enough to get it to stop for the evenings. A nearby market and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace with cool friendly people (plus great fish tacos!) is just a short walk away. Amy was attentive and provided good tips for our visit which was a great help. Will definitely visit again!

This place was awesome! Such beautiful views of the ocean, comfortable seating on lanai and full stocked kitchen. Seems they thought of everything from an ice chest to beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear and even sun hats. Easy walk to town for dinner and light shopping. We had a small problem of no electricity when we arrived. I called William and he was there to fix it within 5 minutes. I would love to come back and stay another time😃

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the apartment was very well located and super clean! The host was communicative and answered our questions really fast. I highly recommend this stay, not just for a short time, but also for long stays.

Everything excellent, very clean and good location, only the shortness of air for the day in hot weather is a bit hot but I recommend closing windows and at night you open

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything I needed for a long term stay: an equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, WiFi, cable/Roku TV, comfortable furnishings, a lanai with a view, and designated parking. The pool at the complex was excellent for daily swims. The ocean-front location of the complex provided beautiful sunset views.

Don't hesitate to book this place! it has everything we needed for 5 adults! beach gear was especially appreciated! Walking distance to many restaurants and even the luau at Royal Kona Resort..

Beautiful space in walking distance of downtown.

The unit was just as pictured. Nice view from the balcony and good location. Fruit stand right across the street. Magic sands beach down the street is nice spot to hangout. Fully equipped kitchen. Friendly neighborhood. Close to the airport. We loved our stay 🙂

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

We felt right at home in the condo and were sad to leave after 6 nights. The check-in instructions were clear, the dedicated parking spot was super convenient (we had a Kia Sportage and fit just fine), and the host’s guidebook was full of great local recommendations. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and private - perfect for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the lanai, where we could listen to the birds chirping in throughout the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets in the evening. While you can hear some street noise from the lanai, it wasn’t an issue for us. The location is great - just a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and shops on Ali’i Drive. We didn’t initially realize that the unit only has ceiling fans (with AC in the bedroom only), but the fresh air and fans kept us comfortable throughout our stay—it was around 75°F most days with occasional rain showers, and we really enjoyed the breeze. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and well-located home base in Kona!

Jan and Cami were very nice to deal with. Their condo is in an amazing location. They thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Very well organized space. It was clean and inviting.

bryce was very quick to respond to questions and concerns! the rental property is in a great location close to stores and restaurants. he also had a list of recommendations around the area and provided discount to those activities.

Nice stay if you’re in the Kona area. Quick walk to the waterfront and many restaurants. Check-in was also very easy. Only note is that there are a limited number of parking spots compared to the amount of apartments. You may need to find street parking if coming back late (which wasn’t hard at all)

Ina is a very informative and responsive host. She recommended some great local restaurants and places to hang out. The house is clean and the neighborhood is very peaceful. There is a beautiful view of the beach behind the apartment (2 minutes walk). The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and ingredients. However, we didn't have time to cook. One thing we found annoying was that the AC was portable and a bit noisy.

We enjoyed our stay at Kal's. Great ocean and sunset views from the balcony. Easy to find, great location and lots of free parking. Within 5-10 min walk to downtown Kona where there are lots of eateries. Also within walking distance to a nearby beach. There is also a washer and dryer with the unit. It's awesome having clean clothes for our trip home.

Perfect location for visitors first time to Big Island. It's right in the middle of downtown Kona and walkable to lots of good restaurants. Our favorite thing to do was ordering takeout food and enjoyed it on the patio (with ocean view). The bathroom can be better but overall the price is fair.
