Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kaatsheuvel

Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

This was our second weekend staying here with a group of friends. Just like last time, the welcome was very warm and the hosts were always quick to respond. The house is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need when you're staying with a group, and we've made good use of the hot tub, pool, pétanque court, and sauna. The surrounding garden is very well maintained and there is a lot of outdoor space. We’d love to come back again. Recommended!

Nice weekend house with plenty of space for up to 8 people. It was our 2nd stay. Steep staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The garden was a bit unkempt und would be more accomodating following some gardening.

This air Bnb is actually a guest house, located on the property of the main house of the Bnb owners. But we did have privacy due to the way the garden and patio are set up. It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen in the air bnb is used for commercial cooking / kitchen purposes , so there was a plethora of pans and dishes and silverware and utensils , along with ten gas burners and three ovens. Unfortunately , we could not readily decipher how to use the ovens since we were from the USA and they were not the type that we were familiar with. There were lots of Morrocan spices in the cupboards, we wish we could have known how to use many of them! Getting to use the sauna , steam room, and hot tub were great bonuses. And having access to a washer was a plus. The tv had many English speaking Channels which was also nice. Very nice place and wonderful setting. I would really recommend this air bnb.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

We had a fantastic long weekend.

A real gem and oasis of peace with a good energy. The location was even more beautiful than expected based on the photos and the unexpected eggs as a gift for the kids as well as the unexpected visit of the horses and the dog and borrowing dog made everything a nice memory. The kids would like to come back, so we'll definitely plan that. See you soon enough. And oh yes, I'll come and pick up the stuff I forgot... 😀

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

We had a very nice weekend at Joost's Airbnb. The communication was pleasant and the use of the bike rental and the wood for the fire basket were a nice addition to our stay! We enjoyed very much.

We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it. So we looked around for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is located in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easily accessible by bus (runs every 15 minutes) and is very nicely located in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we did not find a decent café or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Thank you to Pauline and Raymond!

Beautiful place and the owner is very nice

Nice communication, stay was tidy, spacious and everything was available. The surroundings were very quiet. In short, everything was there to relax and enjoy the surroundings!

It was a great experience on the houseboat! The houseboat is equipped with everything you need and Jeanette is a great hostess. In the immediate vicinity are some bars and restaurants. The Cuban houses and the market hall are within walking distance. Also the metro and tram are not far away. We would rent the houseboat again anytime! Thanks Jeanette, for the great experience! :)

We loved our weekend in the caravans. What a joy to relax there in the evening after trudging through the madness of Amsterdam and Rotterdam! Your garden is beautiful, surprisingly quiet and where it is really nice to relax or play with the children! Favorite for Bacon 🐖🐽 and his friends🐔🐔. Thank you for your kindness, I would have liked to have been able to discuss more with you but as you have noticed, my English is very limited🤣. Good luck and I hope to stay with you again soon! 😊

Beautiful cottage with a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful large kitchen. Ideally furnished for larger family of 6 people. Warm welcome. The wine was ready, as well as cake and sweets ! Certainly subject to repetition!

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, LIyn. Freshly baked bread was prepared for us when we checked in in the afternoon. It tasted great.The room is tidy and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the room we stayed in also has a large garden, full of purple flowers, walking distance to the supermarket and forest park, very convenient, quiet at night, let us enjoy a perfect holiday.Totally recommend it.

Wonderfully enjoyed the paradise that Martijn has created here. The garden, pool, wood stove and sauna were great! We would have liked to see what the entire property looks like in advance in the photos. The cottage is located right next to Martijn's house. And that can't be seen in the photos.

What a nice place where you can perfectly enjoy the peace and facilities with a group. The spacious lawn, basketball court, outdoor area with BBQ and fireplace.. really enjoy. Inside is also top, great in terms of space and a nice bathroom and shower. The hostess and gentleman were very warm and we felt right at home. Absolutely recommended!

Nice friendly and helpful host and hostess! The place is nice and central and there is the possibility to find entertainment but also to take your peace in the woods nearby.

The equipment of the apartment is high quality and impeccably clean. Ellen was easy to reach and very friendly. It was a dream stay. We can only recommend it.
