Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Jura Mountains

The previous reviews have raised high expectations, which have been consistently met. Everything that has been written so far is true! The prepared hiking trails, some of which start at the house, are particularly great. After hiking, relaxation in the sauna, then a cozy evening in the beautiful apartment. Only one disadvantage: we didn't stay long enough! So highly recommended, namely host and vacation home, you effectively stay and live like on cloud nine.

Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

I spent three peaceful nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. The house is cozy and beautifully located with mountain views and a stunning terrace complete with a fireplace — perfect for unwinding. Janette was a warm and generous host, taking the time to show me around the property and the region, with helpful recommendations and maps. The house is easily accessible by car and ideal for both short and longer stays. note that it seemed like the nearby town doesn’t have much in terms of shops or restaurants, so having a car makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

We had a great 2-night stay at your place. You always responded kindly to my messages before we arrived. Céline was great too. The house is big enough to accommodate the 8 people planned. The garden, the petanque court, the badminton net, the deckchairs: everything is there for a total disconnection. The meat from your farm on the brazier was just excellent. Simply a corner of paradise, the perfect refuge to recharge and take a break from the stress of city life. The house is a gem, finely furnished and complete with all the comforts indicated in the listing, impeccable cleanliness. Stefano and Elena are excellent hosts, present and available without ever being intrusive, with their small attentions they make you feel at home. Thanks also to Giulia for the excellent welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Everything was perfectly as advertised, or even better! The apartment was impeccably clean, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to everything but quiet. The host was extremely responsive, welcoming and available to answer any questions we had.

Reto and Andrea were great host and planning to visit again next year.

Julie's place is a wonderful cozy nook at the top end of an already beautiful village. It's a place that has a lot of personality and it's the only AirBnB we've booked twice so far. They've done a great job at improving the place since we last visited, two years ago. There are social events happening in the garden from time to time and there's even a buffet now - not always open, but definitely worth trying out. I can't recommend the place enough. We spent 2 night and hiked up to Mont Noble in one of the days. Mase is already a quiet village with not much happening so bear this in mind. If you're looking for some peaceful time, this is definitely the right place.

Margrit was really thoughtful, knowing it was my husband's birthday, and specially prepared a birthday cake, which made us feel very touched.The house was very clean, the balcony was large and comfortable, and we cooked a cheese fondue on the balcony, a very cozy evening.Thank you very much for Margrit's care, we have great memories!

We spent 5 nights at Jürg and Rachel’s apartment, and it was simply amazing. They were incredibly helpful and kind. The setting is beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Lake Thunersee, and there are plenty of hikes to enjoy in the area. The place is peaceful and cozy — I highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate to go and enjoy nature to the fullest!

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful, with stunning views that made each day feel relaxing. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Pierre was always quick to respond and helpful. Highly recommended.

My recommendation: Don't think twice if it's available – just book! You won't be sorry! The location is fantastic, with a fantastic view of Lake Walen, the furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and Annemarie is just incredibly warm→ ❤️. Particularly charming: the little lizards that watched us curiously from the window sill. We will be back!

It was wondeful staying with her. the room is in a beautiful location overlooking the mountains. Lina is very friendly and helpful. She even gave us a bunch of discount coupons which helped us save a lot of money. The room is small but gets the job done. All the essentials are available in the room. Its a 20 min bus ride to interlakken, so not too bad.

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

If you are looking for comfortable cozy clean apartment in a unbelievable serene beautiful setting, look no further. Just a beautiful place, great fireplace, outdoor cooking area, with great charm and character!

We had some wonderful serene and sunny days in Pierre and Katia's mountain cabin. Incredible flexible and friendly hosts and we felt right at home from the first second. Beautiful location and spacious cabin. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, the outdoor bath and daily cuddles with Snow (the dog) whom our own dog also found a friend in. Al fresco dining everyday. We had daily excursions to nearby Alsace attractions with advice from Pierre and the children are still talking about the welcome bowl with candy (and Snow of course! ;) Cabin is warmly recommended

Nicolas was a lovely host and this was an excellent place to stay.

The house is impeccable, very clean and cared for in every detail. I think it's hard to find such a beautiful cabin with a view like the one you see from the large window of the living room. It's even better than the site's already beautiful photographs. The kitchen is perfect, it has everything you need. Finally, a special praise for Ezio, very kind and always available. She gave us great tips on restaurants and local activities. Of course, we'll be back .

The listing was spot-on, and everything from check-in to parking was smoothly organized, which made the whole experience stress-free. Tip for the host: consider adding a cozier light in the living room for the evenings – it would make the space even more inviting. All in all, highly recommend – we’d absolutely come back! 💛
