Mansion vacation rentals in Johnstown

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

Really great home, walkable to Hidden Valley in ski boots carrying skis. The house was just as described in the listing and photos were spot on. We chose this house because of the kids room, and it was terrific. Five kids slept there, played card games there, and ate in their own area while parents were able to enjoy ourselves in the kitchen and dining area. The mud room was a big win. When I had a question, the hosts were super fast to respond. The house overlooks the lake and the kids had a great time playing in the surrounds. The house has a large deck and a fire pit, but we did not use them due to weather. One thing to note: the steepness of the driveway should not be underestimated. In winter it will require a four or all wheel drive. I drove it easily, but one family could not get up it, and the other slid the entire way down sideways. That being said, the owners were quick to salt and cinder as necessary, and the neighbor helped us by plowing. Cannot recommend enough!

The cabin was gorgeous! It was spacious, clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It is close to great shopping area and restaurants as well. Host was great with instructions & communication before/during our stay.

This property is absolutely stunning. The house and grounds are exquisite. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, and the feeling continued until we checked out. We appreciated the stocked kitchen drawers, linens, and laundry room, as well as all the fun “extras”: the air hockey and ping pong, pool table, electronic game table, hot tub and sauna… The list goes on. Our favorite thing, though, was just spending time on the porches, and gazing out at the beautiful scenery. We had a wonderful time, and are already eager to come back again!

It all starts with great communication. Michael answered every question and also helped with check in and our needs. We so enjoyed the private surroundings and easy to find. Plenty of towels and linens. Every room was unique. The first floor felt like you were in a cozy and rustic cabin. Then you retired upstairs to very spacious bedrooms. A real unique set up! The outside area was equally impressive. We loved the fire pit area close enough to the house to make it enjoyable to go in and out with ease. The covered deck and hot tub is a bonus, easily accessed from 2 rooms on the first floor. And what a view from on top looking down on to the private pond. I would suggest maybe stocking some larger fish. Back to the kitchen which had plenty of cookware and service. We are coming back next year for sure!

We had a very peaceful stay at this rental home—just as described, and perfect for a relaxing recharge. It’s a great spot for a family getaway, and even our dogs loved it. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Sugar Tree Lodge! We made so many amazing memories, and the location was simply stunning. We will be back for sure! Can’t recommend enough!

This property is spectacular! Fabulous hiking, huge pond, a basement filled with fun (pool, ping pong, air hockey, and SO many games). Even with less than stellar weather, we were able to fully enjoy the house and property. There are plenty of covered spaces to enjoy the stellar views and stay dry. The fireplace and wood (thank you!!) meant that we were warm and cozy for our stay. Thank you for sharing this lovely property!!

Wonderful place, perfect for a small group get-away. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware making it easy to cook our own meals, the hot tub was very relaxing, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Highly Recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The house was spotless upon arrival, and everything was well-maintained. The backyard and fire pit were a huge highlight—such a fun and relaxing space to hang out! The location is also perfect, with Hidden Valley and Seven Springs just a short drive away. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay, this is it. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying at this house for a girls weekend (7 of us), and we will be back again! The home is spotless, thoughtfully appointed and cozy. It’s a 5 minute drive to downtown Bedford making it easy to see everything in town, and easy to get home and relax.

Triple Creek Cottage is truly an oasis! Our group enjoy the beautifully decorated living space, especially the reading reading room. Everything was clean, well maintained and looked just like it did online. The pet friendly aspect made it even better. Our group is excited to book with Meghan again in the near future.

Vadim’s and Maria’s house is impeccable. Tucked away from the civilization, what a gorgeous place to relax and spend some quality time with your friends and family. The house has everything you’ll ever need including a very special wood-fired sauna and a cold plunge. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay during your fishing trip in the summer or a skiing trip in winter, look no further, - you have arrived!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is very well appointed and well supplied. The property is very private and just as described. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is of good quality. Firewood is well stocked and the hot tub is the perfect touch. We would recommend this cabin for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

Gene & Stacy have a beautiful and lovely home! They were great hosts, very flexible and kind. The photos do not do the home justice, as it is even more stunning in person. We felt right at home and comfortable. From the moment you step inside, you feel welcome. Stunning windows that provide amazing views. Easy to adjust the temperature throughout the home as needed. Home is well kept and spotlessly clean. It is much larger than you would expect. The layout is grand. There honestly aren’t enough words to describe, you just have to see for yourself. It was just the sort of relaxing and inviting space we needed during an unfortunate time. We would be thrilled to stay again in the future should be over that way. Loved this cabin!!! It’s older than the ones in the area but is such an amazing steal for the cost!! Gorgeous wraparound porch and nice layout. It’s an older cabin in the middle of the woods so there’s some bugs but that’s what you sign up for in the woods. Really loved this place and would love to come back

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

Our stay at Joe's listing exceeded our expectations. The house and surroundings were clean, beautiful and the pool, poker set and table, basketball, golf, etc. made for an ideal bachelor party location. Joe was extremely responsive and helpful with our questions. Highly recommend this spot and we would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet with a group of friends and our two dogs. The place and bedrooms were spacious and very comfortably fit 6 plus the pets. The location is fairly private and remote, in a peaceful and quiet resort community in Berkeley Springs, a cute tiny town. The place was well-stocked and Jonathan and Amy were responsive. There were some HOA restrictions to contend with, such as quiet hours, but nothing major. Our only complaint would be that the outdoor areas, including the fenced porched, were not cleaned, and so had lots of dust and webs that had to be cleaned to use. Still, would recommend and stay again!

This is by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet. Rana was extremely welcoming and responsive. We even left items and she messaged me to let me know and arranged to get them back to me. The home is immaculate, beautiful, charming, and had even more room than we anticipated. It was a perfect place for family dinner and game nights. I grew up in this area, so coming back is always fun, in addition to the handful of need to do things, like Creekside Market, Berkeley Springs State Park, Cacapon State Park, Lot 12 restaurant, The Naked Olive…. We had 8 people in our party and we were more than comfortable. I will 100% come back here!!

We had a great weekend staying in this Airbnb at Seven Springs. The place was very spacious, had lots to do (hot tub, ping pong table, firepit, grill, etc.) and loved the attention to detail. The hosts were very quick to respond as well. Will definitely be planning another stay here in the future!
