Cheryl is a one of a kind host. She went more than above and beyond showing me not only the gorgeous islands of Bastimientos but also gave me an insight on the way of life there. It was literally a life changing experience because of how secluded yet how lively the island is. Full of nature, community, and a place for relaxation and self care. Truly an epic experience that was once in a lifetime. Thank you Cheryl and Mike for an unbelievable time and for giving me access to your space and your time. You guys are amazing and I recommend them to everyone. I will always remember this trip from the floating bar, red frog/wizard beach and the lazy beach days right from the room. Truly a magical experience and I will never forget it. Be good to Cheryl and Mike and they will be great to you. Un vrai coin de paradis… atypique, accueillant, on se sent chez soi.. On a adoré la terrasse en bois qui donne l’impression d’être en pleine nature. On a adoré cette maison colorée, bien équipée, qui allie charme, simplicité, et chaleur On a adoré cette petite plage privée (rarement partagée avec d’autres locataires), plage privée si rare à bocas On a adoré le ponton, qui permet de voir aussi bien le lever que le coucher du soleil On a adoré la proximité avec petits commerces et resto On a adoré notre hôte Benson, qui a été pour beaucoup dans le fait qu’on se soit sentis si bien chez lui. An absolutely majestic location with a phenomenal staff and amazing food! We can't speak highly enough about Michelle & our new friends. This location is a seaside-oasis tailored for escape. The bungalows are tranquil, a scerene seascape. At any given time you are treated like old friends, laughing, learning about the food, the farm, the culture. The beds and amenities are all A+ too! Do yourself a favor and visit De la Luna!!

The room is exactly as it looks and is very clean. The food was okay, I wish it was more flavorful. Lovely view and ambiance.

My husband and I came to Panama for the first time along with another couple. The house was perfectly appointed, so much so that we all felt like we could live there permanently. The photos scarcely do the place justice. The large porch was fabulous and we spent much of the time there. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to take a water taxi where you needed to go. Steve, the host, gave great recommendations. Pat attention to his instructions if you are staying here. Everyone made us feel very welcome. Tera and Jesse, the owners were so gracious and hospitable. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a place off the beaten path and outside of Bocas Town.

Our stay at Jen and Chris’s Airbnb was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views and the kind of tranquility that only comes with being right on the water. The casita was thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee while watching birds flit through the trees was an absolute dream. The water access here is incredible; calm, clear, and perfect for swimming. We spent so much time in and out of the water, just soaking in the beauty of the place. The kids ran wild together from sunrise to sunset, fully immersed in nature, and we loved seeing them so free and happy. One of the highlights of our trip was the massage I received from Jen. I can confidently say it was one of the best massages of my life. It was intuitive and deeply relaxing. It was exactly what I didn’t even know I needed.

Just left a 3 night stay & could have easily stayed for double that. The accommodation is absolutely amazing, exactly as described, in the heart of nature. A great location if you have a car or easily to cycle to near by spots. The treehouse itself was super clean, really spacious, well equipped, good shower, could not fault it. We loved the owners dogs too :) Meike was super helpful, thank you so much!

Dorien nous a fait loger dans la petite cabane 2 places visible sur les photos. La cabane est très simple, avec un ventilateur. Les toilettes et douches sont séparés, mais tout proches et propres. Dorien est pleine d'attentions: elle nous a accueilli chaleureusement, nous a mis à disposition des kayak et matériel de snorkeling et recommandé des randonnées sur l'île. Elle propose également des tous de sa ferme de Cacao pendant lesquels elle n'hésitera pas à vous montrer tous les animaux et plantes qui vivent chez elle, dont une famille de paresseux et Felipe le perroquet. Ses enfants et les volontaires sont là pour égayer les repas. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, dans un petit coin très tranquille et paisible et dans des conditions très simples mais parfaitement fonctionnelles et agréables. J'ai adoré! Dorien peut organiser les ramassages depuis d'autres lodges avec son Capitaine :)
