Wow! Way beyond our expectations! The welcome pack was so generous and included all the essentials and more. The moment we walked through the door, you could see and smell the cleanliness. The bedding and towels were lovely and soft and smelled so fresh. The view from the windows was magical both day and night. The sunrises were stunning! Thank you Des, you are such a fab host!

I was staying here whilst working in Inverness. It’s a nice quiet place plenty of parking, clean and nice neighbourhood. Nice little town close enough to Inverness. It has everything you need. Taste buds is a good sandwich shop down the road it has fresh Turkish bread sent up from Glasgow each day worth a visit. A good Chinese/thai takeaway in the high street is worth a visit too. The Co op on the high street is a 30 second walk as is the gym/swimming pool which you can pay to use.

We come up to Lossie every year to visit family and try to get Stuarts place as all of us enjoy it there. Great location for some lovely walks, great places to eat and drink without needing to drive. Stuart is great at communicating and is very flexible. The apartment suits us perfectly and is always very clean! Hopefully will be staying there next year again!

Lesmurdie House

PaulineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Heather’s place is a home from home and includes everything you would need for a comfortable stay in peaceful surroundings. It was in a great location for researching family tree members in Elgin and the outlying villages. Coming back to the apartment after spending the day in windy cemeteries, was a blessing! 😂 We will be back.

Bright and modern apartment in centre of Kirkwall.

DavidRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We landed right on our feet with this place. Right in the centre of Kirkwall, with easy parking throughout our stay. The flat was simply perfect for us as a base to tour Orkney. Graham was brilliant with local information and recommendations, helping us to make the most of our time on the island. The flat was warm when we arrived and we instantly felt at home with everything we needed plus a few nice touches as well. I couldn’t recommend the whole process and our time there highly enough. Thank you.

The Coach House at Manse House

MaxineRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I can’t recommend this place enough, it was absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself was somewhere I could have just moved into! And location was great, short walk to high street and a lovely gastro pub. Lesley was welcoming, friendly and a wealth of knowledge. And the cottage itself was maintained to a super high standard and with everything you could possibly want. My only one complaint is that we didn’t book to stay here longer! We will most certainly be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Lorna's house was absolutely great and the best AirBnB we've stayed in. We felt totally comfortable and were able to spend a few really relaxing days there. Lorna thought of everything you could need as a guest down to the last detail and prepared the house accordingly. It was perfectly clean, super furnished and very cozy. Unfortunately, we were only there for a few days, but would recommend everyone to stay longer. Also, the communication with Lorna was excellent and we would like to thank you again for your supportive and loving manner. Thank you!

Ideally located to visit places and a short drive into Kirkwall. Would highly recommend and define visit again. Very friendly and accommodating hosts!

The Old Coastguard Station,NC500

ChrisRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The Old Coast Guard station is a fantastic place to stay and as a base for the NC500. The house is recently renovated to a high standard, is very clean/fresh and has the most beautiful views of the bay and harbour. We traveled with our pup as it is very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and lots of places and beaches to walk nearby. Helmsdale is a nice village with local shops, pub and restaurants only an hour from John o Groats and minutes to lovely beaches. Undoubtedly one of the best holiday homes we have stayed - the views from the balcony are amazing.

Great to watch the cows and sheep graze from the upstairs picture windows. One of THE BEST airbnb's we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Luxury 2 bedroom apartment, balcony. Beach, golf.

HyltonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

Stylish 3 bedroom apartment in Golspie

DonaldRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.
