Spacious, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, it truly exceeded our expectations. The room is blended with comfort with charm, making it a perfect retreat after a day of traveling. Jana’s gracious hosting went above and beyond. It’s clear that she pours her heart into making The Aloe Guest House a welcoming haven for all her guests. This remote farmhouse is about 20-25km out of Steynsburg, but the location is incredible once you get onto the farm. The view of the stars at night was perfect. The house is much larger than you think, but incredibly cozy with beautiful decor and amenities (great shower). The food was delicious and well worth adding, and we were given a warm welcome by Andrew and his wife even though we arrived late at night.

A wonderful, restful overnight stay! Totally worth breaking up our journey to the coast to experience the open vistas and peace and quiet of the farm. The beautifully restored house is spacious and comfortable with attention to quality and little extras to make you feel right at home.
