For me, who loves the mountains and likes to go for walks, the Jo Dong-ri Alps is a place where the European Alps are not envious.   Imdo, polished on the 7-800 heights, is a delight to taste. The accommodation is at 450 heights, and it takes 40 minutes to walk to the entrance of the 700 heights promenade, and 5 minutes to drive.   It is best to take a short 5 minute drive up.  The night sky is great and full of stars. If you lie on a weightless chair in the yard and look at the stars, you can see shooting stars and dancing fireflies. It's not crowded with famous tourist attractions or pensions, so it's not crowded. This place is a 10-minute walk from the Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm, and in front of the pension, there is the National Forest of Korea, the best trekking course in Korea. In winter, it snows a lot, so you can see the wonderful snowy scenery. It takes about 8 minutes by car to get to Yongpyeong Ski Resort. There is a Hoenggye Hanaro Mart 7 minutes away by car from the pension, and a convenience store 3 minutes away by car. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Gangneung. Take a break with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
