Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Jamieson

Very well maintained BnB on Lake Nillahcootie with wonderful views just 15-20min from Mansfield. The property is on a farm with farm animals to look at and paddocks to roam. Walking along the paddocks by the lake was very beautiful. Came here with my family and there was a lot for my toddler to explore. The fireplace with the gate around it was a bonus! The host is very responsive; we had an issue come up during our stay and it was promptly rectified. All in all definitely recommend for a peaceful and beautiful country stay.

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! Jamie and Steph’s place is like a scene from Yellow Stone, the place looks amazing 🤩 in the photos, but it’s even better! In real life. The house is situated and designed to have breath taking views no matter where you are in the house, it’s super clean and superbly functionally organised. Jamie and Steph were quick to respond and gave fabulous recommendations for swimming in the area, my family loved the stay and did not want to go home, neither did our dogs, lol, their is a lot of land, our dogs were in dog heaven being able to roam around the large gated area of the home. We plan to visit here every year, it was that good 😌 you won’t know how good until you actually experience it, you won’t regret it, infact, kinda don’t want everyone to go, then you may get my spot😅 but this place needs to be shared. Hope you have a experience to rave about like we did 😉

Villacostalotta was just what we all needed for a wonderfully relaxing weekend away with a couple of girlfriends. The house was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the listing described. Shona left a basket of goodies which we demolished with glee! She’s a very thoughtful host. Beds and doonas were comfy, towels were beautifully fluffy, the rainshower shower head was fantastic and the log fire was divine on the cold nights when we each snuggled in the blankets provided on the couch. Thoroughly recommend Villacostalotta if you need somewhere to stay in the area. (The local White Hart pub makes a fantastic meal and the staff there are just lovely, too!)

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Warby retreat! Such a beautiful home in a peaceful location. The house had everything we needed and it was really warm and cosy. We were visited by lots of birds (which we knew not to feed). 🙃 Absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s great for a retreat from the hustling and bustling life, and transport you back into nature. It’s very secluded, but it is meant to be the way it is. A Stonehill retreat. If you are looking for something that is near town, this is not for you. But if you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful place, I would recommend it 200%! Jacqui was also extremely helpful in her travel directions, and took extra effort to provide us with some oil when we ran out. Thanks much!

We loved Gingers on the Hill. It feels like home and is full of thoughtful touches to make your trip away that little bit special. It's an elegant nod to the mid-century aesthetic and so comfortable and quiet. So great. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Amanda's. The place is exactly like what is stated in the pictures. The house is spacious and surrounding was peaceful too. We had bbq one of the nights outdoors even though it was cold but it was fantastic. I totally recommend this place. We sure had a memorable time here.

This was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. Sitting out in the garden enjoying a hot cup of tea on a frosty morning taking in the surrounds was absolutely tranquil. We caught the last of the Autumn leaves which really brought out the beauty of the maples and other trees around the place. The place is perfectly situated for a number of absolutely beautiful trail walks and lovely dining options. Thank you!

We had a really wonderful stay. Robyn very generously accommodated our change of plans, for which we were very grateful. The location is great and the view while watching the sunset was stunning. The house was perfect for our stay.

Very comfortable base for our cycling trips on the Great Victorian Rail trail. Good location, very walkable distance to shopping strip (and eating places etc.). Bath came in handy for post-ride aches! Lots of TVs, though you need to download Netflix etc. onto your own devices. Fridge is a little loud (cycles on and off), though the place itself is very quiet with only soft bird-song. Lots of heating in house (we didn't use the split-system cooler, as the weather wasn't hot at all when we were there).

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Our stay was absolutely perfect and Anton was a great host who was super helpful and responded quickly to messages. Uninterrupted views of the sunrise, super close walk to the tennis courts and not one but three balconies to choose from to admire the view was definitely worth it all.

Waking up to views over the mountain range and watching kangaroos grazing just over the hill felt magical. The garden was beautifully maintained, filled with lovely ornaments and thoughtful decorative touches that added so much charm. Inside, the space was super cozy, double-glazed for warmth and peace, with a fresh, crisp interior that made it feel clean and inviting. Fireplace was the best kind I’ve ever seen. Helen was so kind to stack up enough firewood for our stay. With the fan function of the fireplace the place warmed up very quickly. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in tranquility.

Beautiful location, easy to find, close to town but far enough out to be peaceful. So thoughtfully set up and absolutely more stunning than the pictures. Stayed with a group of friends and we had an absolute divine time. Enough space for everyone to hang out and plenty of everything we needed for a gorgeous weekend.

Heritage Retreat’s property was amazing. Can fit so many people and although we loved our stay in the middle of winter, this property can be so enjoyable in the summer. Great and responsive staff. Highly recommend!
