The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally in the village's cluster and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was constructed, the remains of the house were set up as a living room next to the barn and today it appears as an intimate and cozy little house with a lot of history and soul. All amenities are, of course, completely modern. The home in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and innermost in Høgsfjorden, gives an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

Small Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with a dwelling and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a shear at the end of Rekefjord. Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, stalls, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and small kitchen that has been converted into extra bedrooms. There is also a boat garage adjacent to the lighthouse, this one is furnished for outdoor coziness and simple dining.

The cabin is brand new - designed and built by myself, and of course with the help of friends and family. Bjørheimsheia offers amazing nature experiences. You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Slapp av på idylliske Idse. Utsikten her er magisk. Å avslutte dagen på terassen med fyr i bålpannen og å sitte i jacuzzien med utsikt utover fjorden er virkelig herlig. Hytta er moderne og bra utstyrt. God plass til 7 gjester. Kort vei til Preikestolen, Lysefjorden og Stavanger. Enjoy your stay in a modern and cosy flat in the centre of town. Located on the top floor with private balcony, you can enjoy panoramic views of Stavanger. A shared roof terrace is also available. The bedroom has a large double bed. The bathroom has a washing washing machine that guests can use. The kitchen and living room is open plan and spacious, with necessary equipment for making your own meals. Bed linen and towels are included.
