Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ithaca

Had a wonderful weekend getaway with a friend. The place was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The igloo was the cherry on top, such a unique and fun touch. Would definitely recommend!

We booked this home after changing our trip dates and losing the original house we rented. Boy, was it worth it!! The home is Beautiful! The views, natural light, huge master bathroom, and the most comfortable couch were just some of our favorite things. One of the bedrooms had kids' books and toys, and it was perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. The owners' communication with us was at its best! We look forward to returning next year!

Will's house was a jewel. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, with a relaxing closed in porch and a backyard area with a beautiful view of the river. Will kindly left us a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies and a vase of beautiful flowers. We chose the house because it was a 2-minute drive from the Museum of the Earth where we were attending an event. A way better option than a chain hotel.

Really enjoyed our time at Kristina’s place! Just about 10 minutes outside of Ithaca it made for the perfect hub to see all the sites the area has to offer. We particularly enjoyed Taughannock Falls and East Ithaca’s recreation trail (both stroller accessible). Food in the area was also amazing - highly recommend CDMX tacos and Maru Ramen as well at CBT/Ithaca Bakery! As far as the rental, we had our 8 month old son and two dogs along for the trip. Kristina had a high chair, tub and crib available for use! We didn’t end up using the crib, but the high chair and tub were extremely useful and made life much easier while we were there! Couch was very comfy after a day of exploring! Big back yard also made our two dogs very happy! Highly recommend Kristina’s place!

Thank you Adam and Kelly! We had a wonderful stay for our 30th reunion at Cornell, and your house was perfect for our group of four. The surroundings were gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The fridge was amazingly well-stocked, including farm-fresh eggs, and the kitchen well-equipped for those who want to self-cater. The deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee—nothing quite beats hearing bird song as a way of starting your day. We all loved it and highly recommend this tranquil treasure!

This is a great location for a weekend spent visiting Ithaca, Cornell, enjoying the Apple Festival, and seeing all the gorges and the waterfalls. The leaves are turning and the fall colors are spectacular. We even went swimming in the chilly lake!

first off.. my partner and I now refer to our recent host as “Pristine Christine”. everything was top notch. zero notes. can’t wait to return. this is a legit sanctuary. the spa amenities were super relaxing. we were really able to unplug and enjoy it all. the detailed instructions and suggestions for things to do really helped curate a unique experience for us. cannot recommend enough.. definitely book this spot if it’s available. you’ll feel like you hit a home run!

We really enjoyed our stay. Tracie is a wonderful host and the house was very well appointed with attention to every detail. The living spaces are warm and inviting. The weekend we were there the weather did not cooperate--despite that we had some great quality time as a family both in and out of the house! We look forward to having the opportunity to stay there again!

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at Brandon's house for seven nights. It was an excellent choice for a home base while we explored the Finger Lakes area, There isn't much else I can say about the home which hasn't already been said, it is as advertised and as reviewed by all of the others. Comfortable bed, warm shower (with good pressure), kitchen well stocked with utensils and very spacious (especially with the high ceilings). The neighborhood was very quiet (almost desolate to an extent). Brandon is well versed in being a great host, he has all the bases covered. Highly recommended. A+

Nice 2 bedroom apartment in a quite street. Quaint and helped us out as everything else was sold out for graduation weekend / Memorial Day. 40 ish minute drive to Ithaca and 20 ish minutes to Corning

The place was spacious and relaxing. It had a lot of charm - we loved the old farmhouse feel - and it had everything we needed. I appreciate little things like the electric tea kettle, and that there were extra towels in each bathroom. David was very responsive and helped when we had a small issue, but gave us plenty of space / privacy. We hope to return sometime soon!

We had a wonderful stay in an idyllic setting! The location is perfect--peaceful with gorgeous views, and only 15 minutes away from Corning where there is plenty to do for a weekend getaway. BJ was super accommodating and I loved having the opportunity to meet the goats and learn about the history of the farm. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful apartment! I loved the character of the old home that was updated with modern comfort and decor. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. It was a great spot from which to explore the Finger Lakes region.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Beth’s place! The home looked exactly like the photos and offered plenty of space to relax after our winery visits. The location was perfect—within walking distance to all the restaurants we wanted to try in the evenings. The neighborhood felt quiet and very safe, and we really enjoyed strolling around. Beth provided clear instructions for check-in and parking, which made everything seamless. We’d absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to our friends. We traveled from Maine early to beat an impending snow storm. Caitlin was so accomodating when we requested an early check in. Ed was very attentive to the driveway and walkways throughout our stay. We seemed to have every weather imaginable! Loved the unit and hosts and can't wait to come back!
