Spacious holiday home on a quiet park with a large private garden Close to a beautiful lake with sandy beach, lovely restaurant, beach-club, working windmill and a massive indoor play barn. Everything is only a couple of minutes walking distance. There is a walking & cycling path all round the lake which links up to many regional and national cycle ways and gets you into the centre of Winterswijk in about 10 minutes where you can indulge in shopping, culture, food and the local nightlife.

The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Maja's Hideaway, deep in private fairytale woods

Maja's Hideaway is set deep in our large private forest. Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. Als je logeert in een boom, dan ga je even op in het leven van de boom. Je voelt heel sterk het ritme van de dag en nacht in de natuur. Je komt tot rust als je meebeweegt op dit ritme. De vogels die de dag inluiden en de vogels die de nacht inluiden. Je overziet het landschap vanuit een hoger perspectief. Je kijkt even op een andere manier naar de wereld, van bovenaf. In een boom slapen, letterlijk tussen de takken slapen is een onbeschrijfelijke ervaring.

Welcome to "De Dwaalgast." On our farm, we produce cider from fruit from our own orchards. On the corner of the farm, you will find the charming double apartment (25 m²). It can be used completely independently. The rural location invites you to watch birds, hike, bike, or quietly read your book on your own terrace. Bake your own bread, and cook your own (mashed) pot or oven dish in the kitchenette. Breakfast at the farm table while enjoying the view.
