Chalet Bellavista - a balcony on Swiss Alps

This small, private Swiss chalet is cozy comfortable retreat for one or two persons. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Rhone Valley and Swiss Alps of Valais. Ideal for nature-lovers or those who simply want to just get away to relax and breathe in the Swiss mountain air. The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

Designer chalet in an idyllic setting

Located on the side of the mountain, in the hamlet of Biolley, the chalet enjoys unobstructed views of the alps and villages below. This cottage was completely renovated in 2013 based on an old stable. In order to optimize spaces, access is via sloping stairs. From all comfort, this chalet is located 10 minutes by car from the tourist resort of Champex-Lac and 18 minutes from La Fouly. The location is ideal for walking and tourist activities.

Historic stone house

Authentic and comfortable base camp, ideally located at the crossroads of Val Ferret, Val d'Entremont, Champex and the St-Bernard region. As a mountain guide, I chose this area to radiate from the house with my clients: in winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, or ice climbing, as well as for its immense potential in summer: alpine hiking, climbing and mountaineering. The possibilities in the area are enormous. Nature is splendid in all seasons.

Our chalet is a 5 min. walk from the departure of the Creusaz gondola (MP partner) , the supermarket, a restaurant and the forest. Les Marécottes train station ( Mont Blanc Express) , the alpine zoo with its restaurant and swimming pool are a 15/20 min. walk away.

The flat was renovated in 2024. The village of Orsières, in which this flat is located, is a true mountain village, accessible by road or rail. The resorts of Verbier, La Fouly and Champex-Lac are 20 minutes away by public transport or car. The flat is close to restaurants and shops (bakery, pharmacy, grocery shop).
