Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Our stay at the lavender farm dome was an absolute highlight for our time in NZ. Tim made us feel extremely welcome and went above and beyond as a host, even baking fresh sourdough each morning (along with eggs and cherry tomatoes!) Our 2 year old adored the farm animals, and we loved the unique and super comfortable feel of the dome and hot tub. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a unique stay, the drive in is also spectacular! Photos don’t capture how amazing this place really is.

Wonderfully warm and well equipped home. Had a family feel about it. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless. It was great to have power in the outside shed to charge our e bikes. What a stunning area, and Kurow is a great spot to explore this region. Thank you for providing a lovely place to relax after a days riding.

This property is such a gem, it’s a bit like stepping back in time to a proper family bach, but one that has been cared for really well. The position is absolutely stunning; the most amazing view - sitting with the door open listening to the birds and the sea was glorious. And a big walk along the beach below was a great start to the day I cannot wait to come back here, I felt so relaxed after a couple of nights here, I only wish it had been longer. Super easy to drive back to Oamaru, 15 mins tops.
