Absolutely wonderful retreat hidden away in a very peaceful location (rental car required). The villa was spacious and spotless, the decking and pool were fantastic, and the small private beach made the place feel like paradise. I was lucky enough with the weather to see the Milky Way during my stay - this is among the best places on the island for stargazing and the reclining deck chairs made it a super relaxing experience. I don't think there is anything I would improve, it was very good value for money. Thank you!

We stayed for 4 nights at Mahalo's place. It was windy and cold outside, but the house had big leakages through the window frame, so it felt uncomfortable while windy outside. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay in the house.

This was a great location. The house was perfect for a family or two. Sometimes sleeping arrangements for families can be difficult in Japan but there were four large beds all which were very comfortable. The view of the ocean was beautiful and you could walk to some restaurant or take a quick drive to downtown. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

The best guest house in Yonehara. The house has everything from rice cooker till coffee. They also provide tooth brush etc ( same as in a hotel) . The location is 700m from the beach and very calm . You can relax in the back garden and do bbq. The owner is quite understanding and very kind. Would definitely come back. I recommend.
