Our two-tiered approach

A lovely bright house right next to Notre Échelle 1. With a swimming pool in the garden with a large sun terrace. In 2024, it was converted into a vacation home where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. Here you will find peace and quiet, the beautiful countryside, but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Peace and nature in The Morvan

Au cœur du parc naturel du Morvan, cette maison de campagne lumineuse et paisible est entourée de prés où paissent les vaches. La maison est idéale pour un séjour au calme ou du télétravail. Exposée plein sud, elle reste fraîche l’été et offre une vue magnifique sur les collines. Le jardin privé permet de profiter pleinement de la campagne : repas en plein air, hamacs sous les pommiers et longues soirées à regarder les étoiles. Des oeufs frais vous attendent tous les matins.

Relax in Gite Briffaut de Bourgondië

This stable converted into a house with a walled garden used to be a stable with a dog kennel that belonged to the adjacent Chateau Briffaut. It is completely free and high overlooking hills and forests, close to the nature park "Morvan". In the house, all the old oak beams are still visible and the old details have been preserved as much as possible, but this house is full of comforts with a walled garden with palm trees and olive trees with terrace and Jacuzzi.

C2-La Pause b&b your room in a large gîte

This large, fully renovated 3* cottage offers a quiet stay to meet with friends or family, or simply for a stopover night to discover our beautiful region. Located in the heart of a pretty little village on the edge of the Canal du Nivernais, lovers of nature, fishing, walking or cycling will find happiness there. Possibility to rent a room or to rent the entire accommodation for up to 15 people. 6 large 160 beds and 4 90 beds, bed linen and towels provided.

Terrace on the water, chestnut cottage

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

Discover an authentic and modernized farmhouse nestled in the heart of the Morvan, in a hamlet surrounded by forest. Fully renovated, it can accommodate up to 11 people. Its cozy atmosphere, blending traditional wood and modern comfort, invites relaxation. Enjoy the high-end spa and sauna to recharge after your outdoor explorations. It is fully equipped to accommodate families with babies and children. You have a large equiped garden.

Charming cottage at Château de Thard for 8 people.

In a natural setting, the gîte of the tower of the Château de Thard, sleeps 8. Independent entrance, neat and warm decoration, well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Garden with furniture and beautiful views of the Morvan Natural Park. Surrounded by 11 Ha of park and forests in a preserved nature and absolute calm. A large swimming pool, shared with the owners, is available from May 15 until the end of September.

Back to Basics

House, very bright and spacious, lost in the heart of Morvan. Large openings onto the forest and the pastures of cows and horses. The comfort and setting as well as the two wood stoves make it a warm place where the desire to settle down and enjoy the present moment predominate. You can walk or bike to many hiking trails. The garden furniture will allow you to contemplate the setting around a meal with family or friends.

Outfitted 2-person tent

Enjoy the setting of this home surrounded by nature, quiet and bucolic Sleep in a tent equipped with a double sofa bed 140 x 200 cm, ( sheets not provided, duvet available ) on wood floor. You have an independent shower and sanitary area ( unheated) Outside, a fridge, microwave, gas stove, and espresso machine are available in a common area (plates and cutlery, pot and pan are available).

Between traditional materials and modernity, this place will make you feel good and enjoy a well-equipped home. LA GRANGE can accommodate children from an early age. Dogs are also allowed.
