Hall Yards Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. The attention to detail and the welcome pack made us feel at home straight away. Even the dog was included with a blanket and water bowl. It’s in an excellent location to explore Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts, as well as Corbridge and Hexham, both worth a visit. These are only a short drive away from the village of Wall itself, which is very picturesque and peaceful. All in all we had a great break in a great place.

Luxury Rural Cabin with Wood Fired Hot Tub

EkaterinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a really pleasant stay at the Wooden Pot. The place is thoughtfully designed with a lot of attention to detail, both in the layout and the interior decor. The hot tub and fire pit were clean, easy to use, and added a nice touch to the experience. The setting is lovely quiet, surrounded by woodland, and a great spot to relax. We were there with our daughters, and our older one really enjoyed the whole experience. The baby settled in easily, and we had everything we needed for both of them, which made things much easier. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They checked in to make sure we had what we needed for the baby, which we really appreciated. One quick remark, we did not use the hot tub with the baby, as it’s not safe nor recommended for such little children. The 7 years old however had a great time soaking in. Overall, it was a restful break and we’d definitely recommend it to others. Worth the visit.

Woodland Barn

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. 3 nights here and we wished we had longer. The home was clean and comfortable with a nice sized kitchen and dining area. Two nice sized en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds too!. You’re Surrounded by lovely views no matter where you sit in this home. The host Paula was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Paula offered and set up a travel cot for us prior to our arrival which was very much appreciated, especially when you have to pack so much with a little one. We all loved our weekend here and would book again!.

Stunning Cottage in Weardale

LeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Dave was a lovely host. Gave clear instructions which made for a stress free start to our stay. Thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge, biscuits and welcome card added to the warm welcome feeling. The cottage is superb, well appointed and functioned as expected. As a dog owner it was great to have use of an enclosed garden. The friendly local pub provided great evening meals. We will hopefully stay longer next time and look forward to exploring the area more thoroughly via some of the trails. We left the cottage feeling de-stressed, thank you! Highly recommended

Stunning views, great walking

JonathanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Stephanie's cottage is in the most beautiful location. The sat nav given in the instructions takes you right to the gate. We went over New Year, and the cottage is beautifully warm, comfortable, completely equipped with everything you need and spacious. If a uniquely beautiful location, remote and quiet, is what you are looking for on holiday, there cannot be many places that are better situated. The farmer, Donna, was available if we had any questions, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. The scenery is as beautiful as anywhere in the world - this cannot be overstated.

Garden Cottage in tranquil North Pennine valley

A wonderful week’s stay in this beautiful place. We were made so welcome, the cottage and garden are definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Our dog was very happy here too. We especially loved the walk from the cottage to Hemel Cafe in Allenheads, following the stream. We look forward to our next visit!
