Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Iraq

Very nice place and friendly hosts. Really enjoyed the view. Close distance from the market and my best favorite was the fireplace and the grilling options. it's a large place that can easily fit 15 people. A small issue was the availability of hot water is limited due to the limited availability of the main source of power which I completely understand, not exactly the host fault as they did their best to provide solar power 24/7 to almost the whole house except the water heater and on other main heater units but electricity wasn't an issue at all except for the hot water if you have multiple people wanting to shower. Maybe the workaround is a gas water heater but overall the place is great and very nice. I highly recommend it. it's in a great location, near all the fun stuff and has an amazing view

Det var vakkert. Det var noyaktig som vi forestilte oss. Fantastisk og anbefalt! Vi var der 2 natter, men jeg not hvert sekund. Veldig fine antikke gjenstander og rett og slett stille og idyllisk! Verten bode rett ved siden av og hjelpt oss med å bedtille taxi og hjelp oss absolutt med alt. Hentet oss fra flyplassen og kjørte oss rett hjem.

Our family loved staying at this place. The location was perfect and the view was amazing. Its small, but has all the necessities, and Hawar is a great host. He even gave us a ride to the bazaar and told us where to find all the best stuff. Kurdish hospitality at its best!

A great bnb in a great area! The location is very central, neighbourhood is very safe, and a super market 30 seconds walk away. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby too, will definitely book again next time I’m in Baghdad :)

Super hoster, welcomed us in the middle of the night. Very good English. The apartment is new and well equipped. The neighborhood is calm and safe. Rather far from the city center but taxi operates well.

بالنسبة لي كانت تجربة ممتعة بكل المقاييس . استقبال بكل احترام و أدب و تعامل بمستوى عالي من الأخلاق و في حالة الحاجة إلى الصيانة البسيطة تكون الاستجابة فوريّة و جميع الأثاث جديد و تم توفير حتى سوائل التنظيف كافة يمكنني ان اكتب الكثير لكن باختصار شديد أنا جدا سعيد بالتعامل مع الدكتور احمد او المشرف و لو سمحت لي الفرصة مرّة أخرى أعيد التجربة معهم لأني تعاملت مع أشخاص يستحقون اعلى درجات الاحترام و اكثر . كلّ الشكر إلى الدكتور احمد و المشرف السيد موسى و إلى كل عمال الصيانة الذين عملوا على توفير الراحة لي و على استجابتهم السريعة.

We had a great stay at Ali’s brand-new flat—it felt just like a five-star hotel! The apartment was very clean, modern, and spacious enough for five adults and a baby. The kitchen had all the appliances needed for cooking, and Ali kindly provided snacks, water, and hot/cold drinks. Everything, including the bedding and furniture, was new and high quality. Ali was an excellent host—very responsive, flexible, and always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The check-in was smooth and easy.m, and also we were allowed to have an early check-in. There was a short power outage that lasted about an hour and affected the elevators, but it was a rare event and didn’t affect our overall experience. In addition, the flat is close to the airport with clean, traffic-free roads, though having a car would help for getting to the city or restaurants—Alamirya is just 10 minutes away and has great dining options. Perfect for families or groups looking for a comfy and affordable stay!

Super séjour, mais trop court ! J'aurais tant aimé trouver cette option plus tôt. Je suis restée 2 jours chez Lisa et Goran et j'ai passé 5 nuits dans un très bon hôtel mais hyper bruyant. Les gens se soucient peu des autres vraiment. Si j'ai un conseil à donner c'est d'éviter les hôtels et de privilégier l'airbnb au Kurdistan. Et celui ci en particulier. J'avais l'impression d'être chez des amis. Toujours très prévenants, ils m'ont même préparé à manger alors qu'il y a tout en bas de l'immeuble. Vous trouverez tous les services dont vous avez besoin, des restaurants, coffee shops, un mini market hyper bien fourni, les taxis bien sur. Very easy. En plus on est ni très loin de l'aéroport ni très loin de la citadelle. Comptez 4000 à 5000 dinars pour aller à la vieille ville, c'est à dire moins de 3 €. Pour le quartier, il faut prendre un taxi pour se balader, donc c'est pas hyper pratique, mais de toute facon, on passe les journées à voyager et on rentre le soir au airbnb, donc on se sent mieux de rester tranquille au restaurant de Quattro Towers plutôt que de marcher, marcher, dîner et rentrer à la maison. Je trouve cette option d'hébergement très pratique et très confortable. Et !!! cherry on the cake, pistachio on the loukoum : on a sa propre salle de bains avec les toilettes :-) Merci encore pour votre aide et votre gentillesse, j'espère vous revoir un jour.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, the same as the photos, the location is close to the center of baghdad. Zaid is a very nice and helpful person. For sure in my next visit to baghdad I will stay in the same place. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay and Mohammed was very friendly and responsive. There is a beautiful park outside and a coffee shop around the corner
