Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Iraq

Ali's place was in a great area in Baghdad. Plenty of restaurants and shops with several small local markets and bakeries within walking distance. Ali's in-residence employees were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for a great stay and hope to come back soon. I highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Baghdad for short or long stay.

I had a very nice time at Ali's house. He was very welcoming and offered to help me with anything. The rooms are clean and have an AC. The neighboorhoof is quiet and centrally located. I can only recommend to stay there when you are in Baghdad!

If you re visting baghdad and need a clean and calm place to stay, you found the right place here. I was staying there for 4 nights and had everything I needed. The room is really comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. Also I could use the kitchen and make myself some coffee in the morning which was just perfect. When I asked to wash my clothes they agreed, which is also a big plus. Whenever I had any questions or demands they answered very fast and helped me with everything. Also there are buses nearby the place which take you to the city center. Thank you so much for letting me stay here. If I’m ever back to Baghdad I will come again

Ako was extremely helpful and friendly! He knows his city like the back of his hand. When we wanted to walk alone through the canyon we got lost and couldn't go any further. But with a phone call, he quickly found us and saved us. Thank you very much for that!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Everything about the apartment was very nice. The location is great as well, just a minute away from one of the main roads and a few supermarkets nearby for all your needs. It really felt like home. Security at the entrance was our only slightly negative experience. They would stop us every time we entered the building, but the host helped us everytime when that happened. Overall a great experience and would definitely do it again!

Hassan is a wonderful host. His hospitality was generous, and was greatly appreciated. Hassan drove us to a local restaurant and made sure we felt right at home. He also offered to drive us to the airport at 2am. It's a very nice apartment with restaurants and other things to do in the area. It is also very close to the airport. I highly recommend you stay with Hassan.

I would have given 5 star to this place but I could not due to distance mentioned in description vs actual distance to Imam Hussein shrine. We were with my mom and she was on the wheel chair and it was a bit more for a Wheel chair what is mentioned in the description. I was told it’s 600 meters to the shrine but it was not. I confirmed with the owner multiple times and I was given the assurance it’s not more than 600 meters. I did not stay at the place and left within 45 minutes after realizing the actual distance. We had to find a new place near the shrine so it can be easy for the wheel chair. Second, For those who do not live in Iraq will require to provide address at the immigration about your stay. The address that was provided to me was unable to locate via Google. Luckily, immigration officer did not pay attention on the address. Third, The place is nice and clean and straight walk to Imam Hussein Shrine, and Khayma Gah. Rooms wide open and plenty of space.

Amazing host, very helpful and informative. Very neat well equipped place, clean and modern bathroom. Everything new and well maintained. Outside one building is under construction so we heard drills in the morning but can’t complaint much about it. On Friday you can hear very loud prayers at 4 am and during day time. We haven’t had hair dryer however that’s not a very problematic situation in warm weather. Shower is amazing. Host prepared water for arrival. I wish we had tea, coffee, sugar, salt, oil and dry pasta, bread, fruits in the kitchen for arrival as we haven’t had anything for breakfast. Everything else was perfect. Thank you

Darin is a very flexible, helpful, and friendly host. He was a great help in everything we needed. The unit was very clean, cozy, well-equipped and furnished, and with a very good location. This unit is great for group travellers. We had 0 problems related to housing throughout our stay.
