Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Inverness County

Everything looks just like the pictures, very clean and well cared for. Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, including little kid plates, cutlery and stool which my four year old was so excited about! Appreciated the wifi and smart tv, could stream and cast to tv with no issues for those rainy movie nights. My husband played the Cabot Cliffs, your about 20 minutes or less from Inverness. Nick is also a great host, I asked for recommendations on where to go to eat, and the recommendations were awesome. Wow what a view from the wrap around deck. Had coffee out there a few times! It’s a special place and easily one of the nicest Air B and B’s we stayed at on our tour of the Maritimes. Would highly recommended. Thanks for the great stay:)

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and clean, very well thought out details, with everything we could have needed. The back deck was beautiful and perfect for relaxing outside, as well as big backyard for our dog to run around and enjoy. Would highly recommend checking this place out, we will be back 😊

Loved everything. This was 1 of 6 airbnbs I stayed in during my 11 day road trip and it was by far my favorite, I wish I could have stayed longer. It had everything you needed, the place was so comfortable and bright. Home away from home. It’s perfectly located to the entrance of the National Park, Cheticamp, the most delicious bakery, and felt very safe. 10/10. Would absolutely stay at again.

Picturesque accommodations that were spacious, very clean and totally relaxing. Although it was “in the woods”; it was easy to find and had ample parking. Warm temperatures and sunny skies allowed us to take full advantage of its location - so near to Baddeck and The Cabot Trail. The owner lives on the property and was able to respond very quickly to requests.

This place is amazing! It has everything you could possibly need and so many cute little details! Ashley was so nice and introduced us to all of her goats across the street. It was by far the best place I’ve ever stayed in! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, 3 nights wasn’t long enough. Hoping to come back again soon😊

Staying at Clarke & Shelley’s was great! The place was very nice, tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The rooms were spacious and the windows let in a lot of natural light. The place felt very private, as there is nobody else living in the house (the top floor is just for storage). Great to see the sun setting over the sea on a cloudless evening. Shelley was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

This was a great place to stay before we went to hike around the Cabot trail. Joeleen had great local recommendations that were really helpful for us to decide where to eat and what to do. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a lovely lower level (back split) apartment that overlooks Bras D'or lake. Super clean and organized with so many nice touches from the hosts! We had freshly baked muffins, coffee maker loaded and ready to start at the touch of a button, fresh butter set out, milk and cream in the fridge as well as burger condiments. Super quiet and peaceful place to stay! Stores, gas etc are about 25 minutes away, so don't expect to walk to a supermarket, but for us the solitude was wonderful. Very nice people operate this airbnb!

We were only there one night but the space was perfect for a couple. it was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The view nice for a basement apartment and you still could see the ocean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

We were delighted to meet Catherine and her husband, and the view behind their home was outstanding. The apartment is like a mother-in-law, attached to their home. Very sweet. We found the bed a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.

Such an awesome place. This place is excellent for a big crew. Lots of room. The view from balcony is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
