Nancy's place was nothing short of amazing. extremely quite and beautiful place to relax with views of the garden and ocean. Place was spotless, spacious and kitchen was well stocked to cook any meal needed. Very comfortable king size bed and lots of natural light shining in. The description of the place doesn't do it justice. Place is close to grocery stores and gas stations. 2 amazing pubs just down the road as well that I highly recommend. Nancy is an amazing host who will go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Place is better than described. 100% highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area and I will 100% be back.

A Hidden Gem in Cape Breton – Perfect Escape! I recently stayed at an incredible Airbnb flat in Cape Breton, and it exceeded all my expectations! The flat itself was impeccably clean, modern, and well-equipped. The host clearly put thought into every detail—comfortable beds, a cozy living area, and a kitchen stocked with everything you’d need for a home-cooked meal. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the space, offering stunning views of the landscape even when indoors.

Joeleens place was a great place to stay for the night. It was very clean, cozy and had everything you needed. It looked exactly like it does in the photos provided. The location was great and convenient. It was on the Main Street and was walking distance to a few restaurants. Just be mindful that it’s a shared building and being on the bottom floor you could hear foot traffic above. But overall we had a great stay ! Thanks for hosting us!!

Even Better Than the Photos – A Perfect Stay in Port Hood! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Joe's three-bedroom upper flat! The apartment is even more beautiful in person than it appears in the photos – spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. After long days of hiking in the stunning surrounding area, the super comfortable beds were exactly what we needed for a restful night's sleep. The location is perfect, close to local attractions, and the check-in process was seamless thanks to Joe's clear instructions. The apartment had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the local brochures that helped us plan our days. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Port Hood. Thank you, Joe, for making our trip so memorable!

Quaint place with updated furnishings and right on the water with cute swings on the deck. Jonathan was very helpful, responsive to questions and provided recommendations on local eateries and things to do. Much appreciated!

Staying at Clarke & Shelley’s was great! The place was very nice, tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The rooms were spacious and the windows let in a lot of natural light. The place felt very private, as there is nobody else living in the house (the top floor is just for storage). Great to see the sun setting over the sea on a cloudless evening. Shelley was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! As other reviews said, there was a smell upon entering (mothballs perhaps?), but didn't bother us and didn't notice it after a while. Although it is dated (that's part of the charm), the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the view was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

This was a cozy place for our family of four in the heart of Cheticamp. It’s close to grocery, bakeries, and local restaurants, and we loved being on the water and so close to the Cabot Trail/National Park. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the deck was relaxing. This definitely was a great place to stay for the activities we wanted to do in the area.

Beautiful and clean accommodations with a very kind and friendly host! The apartment is larger than it looks in pictures and had all the amenities we required. We had a baby crawling around, so we appreciated having such a clean place. Sally and her husband went above and beyond in greeting us with homemade muffins and wine, offering local tips and even cooking us some local lobster! The house is a little bit of an extra drive in, but it was worth it for those peaceful views. Sally and her husband live just upstairs and were always accessible if we needed anything. Thank you so much again for a lovely stay!

Just a few minutes from the Canso Causeway off the Trans Canada Highway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, spacious, extremely well-equipped, with good heating and cooling systems. Helpful house manual with restaurant menus. Wonderful large shower. New washer and dryer much appreciated after a week on the road. Highly recommended.

The seaside shack was lovely. Despite being on the road it was oddly quiet and peaceful inside and the view was incredible. Jon was proactive and helpful and gave perfect recommendations for restaurants, music and trails in the area. The boardwalk is right next to you and right down the street from all the little shops and restaurants. Twas a glorious stay :)

Courtney’s place is lovely. It is right in the center of Baddeck and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Courtney’s place is right above her charming artisan’s shop which carries the work of local crasftspeople, artists, and authors. The apartment had exactly what we needed, but not too much. It was serene, airy, bright and cozy. We loved our 6 nights there. I didn’t want to leave! Courtney was a delight - helpful, cheerful, kind. My husband and I highly recommend this sweet little oasis. 💖

This was the first time we stayed with Glenna. She was very welcoming; the space was clean, tidy, and thoughfully decorated. She is a great communicator; responded quickly to our messages. Her place has very close access to Cape Breton Highlands Park and close access to restaurants in Cheticamp by car. Also nearby is the beautiful drive south along the Ceilidh Trail to Inverness where there are sandy beaches to walk and enjoy. This lovely vacation and our stay with you will never be forgotten.
