Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

We had an amazing weekend get away....it was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside ....had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress free weekend ...we will be returning for sure !!!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

Beautiful place, really makes you feel like luxury living but total privacy & incredible views. Pictures don’t do justice. So happy we found this place to enjoy our relaxing weekend !

Absolutely LOVED this little cottage! Fully stocked kitchen supplies, adorable decore and the best thing besides the hot tub… a record player and some records. We loved our overnight stay! Would highly recommend ! My only complaint and there is nothing to do a about it is it is close to the road. This will NOT stop me from telling people and will not stop me from booking again for my daughand her husband! 5 out of 5 stars for sure

This place was absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate the rain stayed away until late in the evening so we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day. Hit the town for a relaxing walk before retreating to the chalet for a nice bbq and drinks on the patio as we watched all the boats passing by on the water. The inside was immaculate and the hot tub was an amazing way to end the night. Our host was quick to respond to questions and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Was a great way to spend a 1 year anniversary 😊

The cabin is one of four cabins - probably very convenient if traveling with a group. It overlooks a water inlet. The cabin is well kept up but fairly basic in terms of dishes, etc. There is a beach nearby but we didn't visit it due to the mosquitos.

Clean, great view of mountains, for those not from the area,it is in Meat Cove, not Pleasant Bay. Vincent was very friendly. Cabin is very close to the beach.

Great spot that the humans and dog enjoyed! They have everything you need for a weekend away.

Can't say enough about Jay and this place - this has been one of my favourite AirBnb experiences to date. The property is expansive and stunning, with beautiful walkable charming footpaths through the woods to the ocean, and a real sense that Jay stewards over the land with love. The little cabin feels spacious, cozy, uncluttered, homey, and private. Attention to detail like the tone of the lights/ambience, woodland themes while maintaining a fresh, clean and tidy space. I can see how this place would be a welcome reprieve at any time of year and look forward to returning. Jay's hospitality is second to none as well!!

Absolutely lovely spot to stay. Very unique experience with picturesque surroundings. Seems very well managed with a very helpful / personable host. We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

Stayed at Renee’s cabin before we started our tour of the Cabot trail. Renee’s place was excellent. Very clean and cozy cabin that had everything that we needed for the night and a nice little deck to relax on. As the description says, it is a compositing toilet which many may not be used to but it was clean and a very short walk from our cabin. Overall an excellent place to stay if you are looking to unwind and relax in nature with convenient amenities.

Corey's place was exactly as advertised. it had everything we needed and then some. My dad and I were on a motorcycle trip and the location was perfect. close to amenities, close to the cabit trail, just perfect. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.

David was an awesome host. Hé made sure we had everything. the view by the water is great. The spot for the fire is very nice. We had à great stay!

We had a fabulous stay at this little cabin. It was absolutely perfect! Just as seen and described in the pictures. This little gem was just what we needed, peaceful surroundings enjoyed rest and relaxation. Thank you James for sharing your cabin with us, it was beautiful!

We really loved the Cape cottage of Stewart and Belle. The location is very private and offers an awesome 180 degree ocean view. It is near a beautiful beach, great even for extended swims. We found the cottage to be a very special place: the views from the deck, observing the resident bald eagle pair, watching for whales below or for shooting stars sometimes kept us so captivated that we did not want to leave “our hill”. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen spotless + with all necessities, a big stack of fluffy towels (including beach towels), fast WIFI, with a nice selection of books and some music. Stewart dropped in after check-in and offered a wealth of tips for activities in the region. Great! The cottage is “loft style”, bedrooms have walls but are open to the cathedral ceiling. All other services (restaurants, groceries, gas, ice cream…) are between 15 and 25 mins away, so you want to plan for example your grocery shopping alongside your activities. We will be back!

Very lovely place. Light and airy. We enjoyed having the lower level for our bikes. Comfy bed. Walkable to waterfront and restaurants. We’d stay here again!

The cozy cottage was absolutely adorable! The sunset from the back porch was fabulous and the cottage itself was spotless and extremely comfortable. Definitely would stay again if I'm in the area.

Perfection! A quiet and peaceful cabin in the woods, yet with every amenity you may want. It was so comfortable, neat, clean and safe. Open the windows near dusk to hear all the beautiful sounds of nature. We stayed two days on this side of the park and loved it so much. This cabin is very close to the Cheticamp entrance of the national park. It was easy to get to the hikes early, go back for a rest, and return in the evening for sunset hikes. Truly a great location. We are already nostalgic about our stay.

Gorgeous location, cabins were perfectly sized, clean and as described.
