The hiking and biking paradise - Schienerberg offers great activities right outside the front door. In the village, there is a regional farmers market with all products for everyday needs.

With our vacation home "beija-flor" we have fulfilled our dream of living on the water and André, an architect by profession, was finally able to realize his own project. We bought the house in 2023 and then lovingly renovated it with a lot of our own work. The name is inspired by our last big trip to Brazil and translates to "hummingbird" – "the one who kisses the flowers".
