Stunning Private Log Cabin

Sean was a great host, went above and beyond. We were welcomed by a warm fire and a very peaceful home. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a great addition in such a beautiful location. Sean was sure that it was ready for us at the times we requested! The amenities were all top of the range and the cabin was spotless. Our only fault was that we didn’t book longer! Thank you so much for an incredible stay

"The Prospector on Miners"

Our favourite accommodation of our NZ trip, everything was excellent! I can't decide if my favourite feature was the super comfortable bed and linen, the heated bathroom floor or the sensor light for the bathroom! Carolyn was great with communication and very helpful. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here if visiting this area again.

We had a wonderful stay. The well-equipped, modern house is in a perfect, peaceful location, close to many beautiful walks and cycle trails. It had everything we could possibly need, along with fantastic views and a stunning starry sky. A big thank you to Sonya for being a wonderful host and for responding so quickly to our messages.

Eden Cottage, Wedderburn

Gorgeous wee spot. Well presented with lots of thought put in to the little things. Fire was lit when we arrived which was nice on a cold day. It was nice to stay in an air BnB where the owner thought highly of the guests needs/wants/likes. Quality sheets and beds, gorgeous coffee mugs, quality kitchen gear. We felt right at home. Peaceful spot, deck was great for an evening drink. Added bonus was a stunning Aurora that night and a visit from the game puss. Love our stay, highly recommend.
A rustic stone cottage is framed by snow-covered ground, with a simple picnic table visible in the foreground. A black dog is seen exploring the area, while snow blankets the roof and surrounding landscape. Trees are partially visible, providing a natural backdrop.

Bonspiel Gold Miner’s Stone Huts

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
3 Kids and I stayed for 2 nights, absolutely loved it. As per description, no luxuries and basic 150year old miners hut but that’s why we stayed. Kids loved paddling with kayaks, panning for gold, biking around paddock and rocks, walking and exploring not to mention lighting the fire, toasting marshmallows and helping cooking/ keep camp tidy. If you are after an authentic, original experience highly recommend. Was a minus 3deg frost but bedding kept us warm. We will try to come back in summer so kids can swim in the weir and have more daylight to explore. Thanks for the Easter eggs, milk and bread too Sue
