We had a lovely week at Barn Owl Cottage. Elaine was really helpful as a host and the location was great for visiting various places in the North Lakes and beyond. The accommodation was just what we needed - comfortable and well-equipped.

Family home in Penrith, Lake District

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just spent a lovely mini break in Penrith at Emma’s lovely bungalow. Ideal home for our family of 4. It is in a lovely, peaceful area with a gorgeous, big garden and fabulous views! We took the Stagecoach bus into Keswick (50 mins away by bus), which we enjoyed in the sunshine. Explored Penrith on the 2nd day. Accommodation really homely, comfortable and clean. There were board games for the children to enjoy too. Emma was kind enough to let us check in & leave our bags earlier, which we really appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accommodation. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Barn. We stopped off here for a couple of days on our way to Scotland and it was the perfect location. Pat and Neil really looked after us and the accommodation was excellent in every way. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
