The cottage is connected to the village of Sönnerhult but in a private location so you only see the village from a distance. Suitable for everyone in a village that has everything from Astrid Lindgren's world to excursion destinations in the Hultsfred Festival's tracks. In the nearby area, there is an elk park, swimming areas, summer cafes, adventure park, Emil i Lönnebergas Katthult and farm shops.

Possibility to rent a canoe or boat in the nearby area and buy a fishing license for a day or week. Approximately 45 minutes' drive to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World, approximately 30 minutes to Virum Moose Park.

The house is completely secluded in the woods and right by its own forest lake with a jetty, sauna and boat. Centrally located in Hultsfred, close to Astrid Lindgren's World. Three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, large living room and furnished glass veranda and patio. Double beds, single bed and sofa bed. There is an option for additional sleeping places on an inflatable mattress and extra beds. Access to crib/travel bed, high chair and simple stroller with reclining position. Bicycles and garden with trampoline, swing and playhouse. Barbecue facilities. Proximity to swimming lake and playground as well as exercise loop.

The yellow house in the old festival town of Hultsfred

This little yellow house is situated in the legendary festival village of Hultsfred - where one of Sweden's first and biggest festival took place from 1986-2009. You find the house between the central village and the beautiful park that used to be the festival area and today host a lovely scenery, a camping area and historical wooden houses kept as they were back in the 1800s. We rent out the house based on self-service which means you as a guest is responsible for cleaning before you leave.

Huset inbjuder till tysta och vilsamma stunder eller till gemensam matlagning vid spisen men även till att insupa en god bok i någon av de sköna fåtöljerna eller varför inte få till en härlig brasa i kaminen under höst och vinter. Denna natur rik på djur och detta fina hus ska verkligen upplevas på plats. Välkomna!
