Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson County

Louis was warmly welcoming to my friend and I, graciously waiting to greet us and show us the details of the room and amenities. The room and bathroom were spotless, and I loved the little details of the soap dispensers and the welcome shelves with water and such. The room was spacious with good light and had nice artistic touches. I look forward to staying at Louis’ place again when I’m in Newark, absolutely. Very close and convenient to the Newark international airport.

This place is beautiful inside and exactly as photographed. Great ammenities and many driveable places. We stayed so that we could visit Flushing and were not super far from the larger parks in the area with our pup. So many really great driveable places to see the bay areas as well as close to many walkable parks that are dog friendly which we appreciated. Very comfortable beds and a lot of space in the home!

Staying at this gem in Hillside was really the best start to my trip to the US I could have asked for. Very easy to get to NYC yet you stay out of the hustle and bustle - instead you hear birds chirping and get to watch squirrels and groundhogs and raccoons in the nearby Weequahic park (that also has a great running trail, fitness equipment and a free outdoors boxing area). the house is beautifully furnished and cosy, and I loved staying in the attic with its window sill, comfy bed, charming desk. Honestly never tried the tv but it looked very decent. Coliving with the hosts and other guests was also extremely pleasant, sometimes having someone to talk to after a day in the city is Just exactly what you need, but at the same time you get all the space and quiet that you could ask for. ShopRite supermarket is a little walk away but has great stuff. all in all, definitely recommend!

We arrived at the unit and easily found our way in. The parking was easy once we messaged for clarification and got a very fast response from Emmanuel. While the house is in an older area it was extremely well renovated and very obviously cared for. The neighbors were welcoming and friendly and very quiet in the evenings. The amenities were as described and it was amazing how well the window air conditioners cooled the entire space. We brought our own games and there was plenty of space to play between the 2 tables and the extra chairs. Having 5 people staying at the house was comfortable with a decent kitchen and 2 bathrooms which allowed us the have our own spaces. The living room couch and chair were the most comfy ever! Access to the parkway to get to our wedding destinations and also into the city was also convenient. Thank you to Emmanuel for maintaining the location.

My husband and I spent two pleasant nights at Halima’s place in Hillside. We were attending an event nearby and also have family in the area so the location worked great for us. It was easy to find with available on street parking. Having a pet friendly location was a must for this trip so that was a bonus. Our pups enjoyed the park that was just around the corner. The apartment was lovely,. It had plenty of space, was tastefully furnished and had beautiful house plants throughout. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom is on the small side but was super clean, as was the rest of the house. We really appreciated the clear directions and ease of checking in and out. This apartment met all of our needs and I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay at Veronica's place, she was a great host and easy to get a hold of for any questions we had. The apartment was exactly as described, the room was large and comfortable. Both the bathroom and kitchen were kept very clean and tidy. The location was great for us, with a metro station just across the street with trains into the city. Would recommend to anyone needing a base to explore the city from!

Adham & Yossr's place is the perfect place to stay if you are flying into LaGuardia and don't want to rent a car. We were able to walk to Citi Field, Black Sheep Coffee & Amigo's Deli (both on Astoria Blvd - Amigo's has a GREAT chopped cheese hero), as well as catch a bus or walk to the subway station if you're looking to explore Manhattan, Brooklyn, LIC, etc. The apartment was clean, spacious and exactly as listed with clear check in/check out instructions. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood and even though it's by an expressway, you can't hear it. Comfortable bed and the shower was awesome. If we're ever back in Queens, we'll definitely book here again!

Would highly recommend this home! We had dinner both nights at Artemios Prime and Proper…very good food! We had a wonderful conversation with one of the owners at the end of our meal the first evening! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Upper Greenwood Lake area!

The Chateau Renee was a great place to stay! From the scenic view from the back deck and hot tub, to the beautifully curated interior, our small group had an amazing time. We enjoyed some local restaurants in Greenwood Lake and over in Warwick, and were able to catch a broadway show in the city since we were only about an hour away. If you’re looking for a spot to stay anywhere in this area, you have found your Airbnb!

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

We loved the view out to the lake, which was different every day and throughout the day. The open layout of the house is great to enjoy the views, and if the weather is nice, there are great sitting areas outside as well. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The hosts are friendly and always responsive. There are also great parks to visit nearby. We had a great winter weekend and would love to stay again.

Barbara is a fantastic and welcoming host, and the cottage is really wonderful. The perfect spot for a winter weekend, I can't recommend Barbara's place highly enough!

This Airbnb was definitely one of my favorites! The place was beautifully designed, and I was impressed by how every little detail was thoughtfully crafted with care. I would have liked this place better at the time of booking if there were more photos of the entire place, showing each bedroom and bathroom.

We loved this adorable little lake house and the area is fantastic. Everything was clean and immaculate and the hosts were very gracious. They left a handwritten note which was really a very nice touch. Something to note, if you plan on coming with very small children/ a baby/ someone with difficulty with stairs, the driveway and steps are very very steep. My husband and I were on our own so we were fine, but it’s helpful to know. Overall I recommend this stay and would definitely come again.

Excellent stay at scenic location. The cabin and T’s hospitality were great! The host’s attention to the details of the place really made this stay a fine example of how Airbnb could surpass traditional lodgings. I would highly recommend this place.
