Close to many public boat ramps.Equipped with a full kitchen and living room, this cabin sleeps up to six people with a full bath. Ample parking for ATV/snowmobile trailers. The cabin is a short drive to Calumet, Hancock, and Houghton.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.

Hello, available for short-term rental is our second home close to Michigan Tech and Lake Superior for family vacations in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Easy access to ~233 miles of snowmobile trails! Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, gas station/convenience store, park, marina, grocery store and trails as well as short drives to excellent ski trails. The Hungarian Falls are less than 2 miles away.

Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.

Our home is centrally located in the heart of the Keweenaw. It’s an old mining house that we’ve just recently renovated, so we’re still working on getting it to be at its best for our guests. Historical sites and a wide variety of attractions are found near here, such as: hiking and biking trails, ATV and snowmobile trails (one comes out right across the road), museums, restaurants, and more.
