Unser Aufenthalt in diesem herzlichen und gemütlichen Häuschen war einfach perfekt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus ist nicht nur liebevoll eingerichtet, sondern auch makellos sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt – von ausreichend Geschirr über eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln bis hin zu Feuerholz für den Kamin war an alles gedacht. Die ruhige, stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre und die atemberaubende Aussicht sind ideal, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und abzuschalten. Ein zusätzliches Plus ist das interessante kleine Museum ganz in der Nähe, das einen Besuch wert ist. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super: Hans und Bina sind stets gut erreichbar. Kurz gesagt: Ein traumhafter Ort mit einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre.

Lovely cabin and really nice views of the fjord. Kitchen was well-equipped. Toilet/shower a bit older than the rest of the cabin but worked well.

This little cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in the Faroe Islands. We sat and had coffee in the sunroom every morning and watched the waves. The hot tub was amazing, even with the drizzly weather. Leynar was a a calm and peaceful home base for our trip and it was easy to hop back on the highway and go wherever we needed. Everything in the house was as described and the kitchen was very useful! The beds were pretty comfy too!

Virkelig hyggeligt hjem med rigtig flot udsigt. Huset indeholdt alt, hvad vi behøvede og mere til. Vi var 10 personer over 3 generationer og der var god plads til alle. Oplysende og opmærksom værtinde.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. The place was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we would have wanted.

We greatly enjoyed our week's stay in this delightful farm cottage. After each full day's outings, it was wonderful to return to this warm, cozy cottage with its lovely views over the hills. It is described accurately on the website, is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Its location makes it easy to go anywhere on the islands. Tórður was a most helpful host. We would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Vi havde nogle dejlige dage i Torshavn i denne bolig. Den ligger meget centralt og med kort gå afstand til centrum og gode busforbindelser. Der er en fantastisk udsigt fra lejligheden ud over Tinganes og havet, men uden at være klods op af industrihavnen. Et rigtig godt sted at bo i Torshavn.

Vi havde et skønt ophold i Gunnvás bolig. Vi følte os virkelig hjemme i de dejlige, kunstneriske omgivelser. Tórshavn centrum var desuden indenfor gåafstand. Vi kommer gerne igen!

We had such a wonderful stay! The location is wonderful for exploring Vagar and right near the local football pitch and beach. The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home.

Nice little cottage, very quiet at the lake. Looks like on the pictures. The hosts did give all necessary informations early enough and all was very easy going. Totally recommend it. The area is very quiet, don't expect anything going on there ;)

Tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Hinweis: Wir sind beide relativ klein, wer größer ist oder gern mehr Platz für sich als Rückzugsort hätte, ist vielleicht in einer anderen Unterkunft besser aufgehoben. Nachts geht mehrmals eine Art Boiler (?) an. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, packt eventuell Ohrstöpsel ein. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Tjornuvik ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

It is a very spacious flat, in an old building in the heart of Torshavn. Even a family could spent some days or a week there. Only the weekend drunken party people can be noisy in the streets around. But we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Torshavn and many places at Faroe island. There is a parking possibility, but with some ferries and busses a car is not always necessary. Thanks you Claus and >Sigrun for your welcome and waiting for our delayed flight . Claus gave us a lift to the Ferry to Iceland to say good bye. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Vit vórdu 3 systrar, sum vórdu har í 3 dagar, og vit hugnadu okkum. Vertirnir vórdu uttanlanda tá vit komu, men Maud var røsk at siga okkum frá at tey ikki vórdu har, men komu heim kvøldid fyri sum vit skuldu heimaftur, og tá heilsadu vit uppá hana. Hon var stak fitt og fyrikomandi at tosad vid, so alt tad besta til Vertin frá okkum trimum. Takk fyri uppihaldid. Vit høvdu tad so gott og hugnaligt🥰

This home probably has the best views in the Faroe Islands - just steps from the water with unobstructed views in every direction. The home is not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and the location made up for the less-than-fancy bathroom. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The walk up the hill was a great way to get in a couple minutes of cardio each day. :)

boede i 10 dage i Annas hus og det var en fornøjelse. Vi er hvert år på Færøerne (siden 2007) hvor vi lejer private huse og det er absolut i top 3, kan kun anbefales.

Very good place overall, spacious and clean. Enjoyed the stay!
