Le Bel Air - Chalet

LanRating, 5 stars60 months ago
Such a wonderful and fairytale feeling chalet with an amazing fireplace and plenty of character and charm. Walking distance from the main township, toboggan hill, and a 15minute drive to Mt Hotham. Most things were closed (which Josie let us know, prior) because of C19 and the bus wasn’t running with the delayed start to the season. We found vodafone had great reception despite being let know there was no coverage, which helped booking things online. As it was just the two of us, we still made the most of it, driving into Hotham ($56 a day) walking the tracks around the DP township, relaxing by the fire, and having dinner at the DP hotel. I would seriously recommend researching and booking anything in advance, including checking if the bus is running (it was not, but should be from the 29th), restaurants, and any lift / ski hire, as so much of this is affected by C19 and not much snowfall (yet!). Overall, we had the best time and would stay again in this magical town and chalet!
The chalet, nestled among snow-covered trees, presents a charming façade of timber and stone. The balcony offers an inviting space that overlooks the winter landscape, framed by the surrounding white snow and natural greenery. Bright blue skies peek through the tree branches.

The Red Onion Ski Chalet - Entire home

MeganRating, 5 stars71 months ago
We loved our holiday in the Red Onion. It had all you could possibly want for a fabulous ski holiday. The chalet was thoughtfully equipped with all the basics plus so many wonderful extras, which made for a delightful stay (laundry powder, herbs and spices, huge range of books and entertainment). Di and George were wonderful hosts who gave us clear and easy to follow instructions with thoughtful local information and welcoming treats too. We would definitely like to return to the charming Red Onion in the future.

Snow Fall Lodge at Falls Creek - Ski In - Ski Out

LeighRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow Marie’s place is brilliant. We had a group stay for three nights and we all loved it. We loved the communal areas on the top level where we could all hang out and sit around on the comfortable couches. The kitchen was set up really well and had all the cooking equipment and utensils needed for the 11 of us. Each room also had a bathroom which allowed us our own privacy and space. The location is perfect and only a short walk down to restaurants and bars. Marie was very helpful and sent through all the details we needed for our stay. Summer or winter, this is a great place to stay for a big group. Would highly recommend Marie’s place.

The Iconic "EAGLE ROCK" location & value 4 money

TinaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Not sure where to start. Our stay was perfect! Three families with small kids with still plenty of room to move around. Building snowman just outside our door steps. Toboggans track a few minutes walk away. Onsen spa, pups crawl, delicious coffee and food options all around. Scenic sunrise walks or just staying in, in front of our own fire place. All this after our daily short bus/car ride between Hotham skiing and snowboarding. Well worth it. We recommend Wassim’s place and many thanks to Sue for all the local tips. We’ll definitely stay again!
A dark wood chalet is seen with large windows reflecting the snowy surroundings. A deck with railings extends from the building, featuring a grill covered in snow. Trees with snow-laden branches frame the scene, creating a winter ambiance.
