River Rose Retreat is a cute and cosy shepherds hut, located along side the stunning river Hamble, in the quaint village of Botley. The Shepherds Hut, which is within walking distance from Botley village and train station, has it's own garden with hot tub, seating area and fire pit, surrounded by trees whilst gazing out on to the river. Although we adore dogs ourselves, unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

Very pleasant stay at Valerie's house. Valerie is a great host and very helpful with information on the area. Location is excellent for Beaulieu and the new forest.

Overall very good stay for work. Was a little noisy at times, but expected in a central location. Hosts were great and was shown around the flat and given clear instructions. There is free parking around the corner 6pm to 8am.

Great place to work or relax

I had a flood in my property and stayed at Paul’s through the insurance. He was very understanding and even had the place ready earlier than expected so I could move in asap. I ended up needing to stay longer so they could fix my property and he gave me first refusal for the length of stay so I didn’t have to worry. It’s a lovey little place and a great owner, definitely recommend

We visited Southampton for a trade show and stayed at Charlie's place for almost a week. The flat was fantastic, very clean, new, comfortable beds, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Short Uber ride into town but walking was also fine when we had time. Charlie was very helpful and responsive and instructions for check-in very clear.

We had a lovely stay at Highbury House. It was the perfect size for our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children). It was spotlessly clean and fresh and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome basket was much appreciated and Darren was easy to communicate with. Would recommend this house and would happily stay again.

We were warmly welcomed by friendly hosts. The home was super clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was amazingly comfortable, warm and quiet & to wake up to that delicious smell of freshly baked bread was delightful. I have to admit I am slightly afraid of dogs but the two little puppies were so cute! Situated in a nice area with beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommend booking with Iaan and Jason.
