The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. Stunning views - outdoor pool - cosy log burner

BrentRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.
An indoor swimming pool with a gentle curve and a clear blue surface reflects the surrounding light. Lounge chairs are positioned nearby, and plants are placed in the corners, contributing to a serene atmosphere. Soft lighting illuminates the spacious area.

The Manor House

EiraRating, 5 stars38 months ago
What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.
A quaint courtyard is visible, featuring a wooden table set with a bowl of mixed fruits and drinks. Green doors frame the stone building, while potted plants add greenery to the gravel area. Wicker chairs provide seating options around the table.

Badgers Wood

JackRating, 5 stars46 months ago
Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Home in Derbyshire contractors welcome

WaqasRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Jen and Kaine are excellent hosts, responsive, and genuinely trying to help. We asked for a fan even a cheap one as it was quite stuffy during our stay. They brought a really nice fan and that did hello a lot. They provided clear instructions and left plenty of water, milk, and various packs of crisps that helped us when we arrived. The board games kept our kids occupied during evenings and away from screens, although a really big TV was also available. The real icing on the cake was that there were plenty of ice cube bags already in the freezer that helped immensely as the days and evenings were a bit hot. Overall really great accommodation and we would certainly recommend to small families. E even may Kaine just before leaving and it was a pleasure meeting with such a friendly and jolly chap. The property was as advertised and location helped us going to different places like Matlock Bath, Matlock, Cromford, etc. Jen and Kaine even recommended some places that we did not know about.

What an absolutely beautiful house, I could have stayed forever! The house is in such a peaceful area, there was plenty of parking space and it had great public transport connections. The beds are so comfortable it is unreal. I can't recommend this lovely house enough, if it is available when we visit again next year I will surely be booking to stay here.

Chaddesden- Charming house in Derby

StephanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely peaceful house with a homey feel. It was very clean and clear but wasn't a show home which for us was definitely a positive and made us comfortable. The host gave really clear and helpful instructions and although we didn't need to ask anything additional I felt he would respond immediately if required.

Cosy country cottage - Forget Me Not Cottage

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a lovely little home perfect for our small family. As a family of 3, with our little dog the space suited us. The stairs were steep but the motion sensors ensured that you could see and it was safe. Our 2 year was really safe in the single bedroom as she couldn’t reach the latch on the door and there was nothing in there for her to break in arms length. The little touches and thoughts throughout were what made this place stand out. We brought our own dog blankets to protect the furniture but there were some provided already. A really good thought on how to protect this little home. The village itself was super friendly. Everyone you passed said hello. The local pub was really close and worth trying for a relaxing drink, or a not so relaxing drink with your toddler.

The Jungle! House with Hot Tub.

MaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great stay. The noise detectors are a bit distracting and off putting of a relaxing vibe but can understand why it’s needed. We are not very adverse to hot tubs and found the instructions lacking a little and couldn’t get it working as well as we like but feel like that’s us. Otherwise great location and host is very response, would stay again.

House on the Green Spacious-Super location

PeterRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed with three adults and three kids for a week. Lots of space for the family. Kitchen very well equipped, the slow cooker was a real bonus. Having Chester Green nearby was great, and we enjoyed waking the loop to Darley Park. We didn’t have a car, so did walks to train and bus stations. They aren’t super close, but easily walkable and the river path is lovely. Mall is about a 20 minute walk and has everything you need. Would recommend.

We had the most amazing time - the perfect cottage. We made friends with lambs, soaked in the hot tub, chilled and ate pies at the red lion! We really felt at home and it was so so special. Phillipa added so many personal touches and we even got to meet one of her little doggies Stanley. Phillipa we WILL be back! Thank you!!!!
