Sea Palling is a village in the Norfolk Broads. Skies are big and clear, the air refreshed by North Sea storms. Nights are dark, silence unbroken. The cottage sits on the edge of a large arable field across which runs a public footpath to sand dunes and miles of uninterupted sandy beach. A stable door to the cottage leads into a beamed sitting room with a large inglenook, a multi-fuel stove and central heating.
