Primitive Wooden Cabin located in the forest. Close to Bredeådal (natura 2000) with fine hiking and fishing opportunities. Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

Charming cottage in beautiful nature with sauna

Hugely charming wooden house located on 5000 m2 of undisturbed surroundings overlooking a scenic and protected area with heathland. Occasionally, a deer or two will stop by. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

The beach, city center and train station are within walking distance in approx. 10-15 minutes. The nearest supermarket is about 250 meters away. Dogs are very welcome here!

We bought the cottage in 2018, renovating it a little along the way and as time allows. What we want is for the cottage to look cozy and personal. The apartment was completely renovated in 2023 in the basement and in the spring of 2024 on the first floor. Therefore, some of the interior does not yet have pictures. The apartment is at one of the narrowest points of the island in Rantum. In about 5 minutes' walk you are on the sea side or on the mudflat side. The unit has its own garden area with beach chair. Pool is available from May to approx. mid-September.
