Wow! We had an incredible stay at the Cabin @ Atlow Mill. The whole set up at Atlow Mill is beautiful and without fault. James was helpful from the start, sending us clear instructions, information and even offering flexible check in. When we arrived, James greeted us - even insisting on carrying our suitcases to the cabin ☺️. James showed us around the cabin, explained where everything was and showed us how to use everything. James also provided really helpful tips for walking routes, parking, where to eat etc. The cabin itself is immaculate, finished to an incredibly high standard and well stocked with all you could need - even Prosecco ☺️. As per one of James’ recommendations, we walked across the sheep fields into Hognaston and enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Red Lion. We also enjoyed a trip to Carsington with a long walk around the reservoir. We could not praise or recommend the cabin at Atlow Mill, and James & Chloe as hosts, more highly. We hope to be back again soon!

We have enjoyed every minute of our stay.Very cozy, private ans peaceful place. Everything is as described. Although its self check in/out process (which we prefer)the owners been very good with communication and made us feel welcome. Thank you so much ☺️

We had a great two night stay. The cabin has everything you could ever need. We found some great walks to get the dog out as well

Unbelievable stay. I am a sucker for romantic hideaways with hot tubs! Have done loads but this place trumps everyone! My partner’s birthday- Katie decorated it as a surprise! Did not expect that. Luxurious, beautiful little touches throughout the lodge. The views to die for. Extremely comfortable. Perfect nights sleep. Quiet. Planning to return soon as want to visit Castleton and hope valley. Definitely well worth booking ❤️

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday, it was lovely getaway and break from life itself. A stunning view from the room and Hot tub. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. As well as the accommodation was very clean and tidy. There’s pubs, restaurants and walks close by and the whole surrounding area feels safe, secure and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who was looking at a peaceful getaway.

We stayed here with our 4 children for 1 night on our way home after a camping trip to break up our journey home. Thank you John & Lauren for a fantastic stay, we had everything we needed and the shower was amazing too - just what we needed after camping! We would definitely come back and stay for longer next time.

The stay we had a the Cabin was our first time away together. The cabin was spotless and the scenery was magical. The whole experience was just perfect and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic retreat! From the moment we arrived— greeted with a wonderful welcome basket—this camping pod in Macclesfield Forest exceeded all expectations. Although we’re familiar with the area, we were craving a short escape from everyday life, and this spot was just perfect. Waking up to those incredible views across the Cheshire plains was unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more peaceful place to stay—exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy it all over again. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

Amazing stay at this little retreat! Couldn’t fault it at all - super responsive host couldn’t have done more to help! Super clean, cosy, amazing views - the perfect getaway. Host was very good at providing information about the local area which I had asked questions about. A lovely Lodge and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a long day at Alton Towers. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely two night stay at Rebecca’s cabin. It was suitably equipped for a short stay and was warm and cosy. It is very well located for Matlock Bath, Crich tramway museum and the East Midlands Designer Outlet. Good recommendations were provided. It was safe and quiet for small children and they enjoyed their stay too. Thank you very much for an enjoyable mini-break!

I stayed for 4 nights whilst in between house sale/completion as I needed somewhere peaceful and private to work. Susan was so helpful with what was a very last minute booking and provided loads of info for checking in and the stay in general. I was able to come and go flexibly and enjoy the privacy, but could also contact Susan anytime I needed and enjoyed chatting with her briefly. I would 100% recommend and I'm really grateful for my stay.

Lovely accommodation, cosy and welcoming. Beds, sheets, duvets very comfortable and excellent quality. Very, very clean which is always so nice for guests. The farm was peaceful and relaxing with all the animals around. Julie was lovely and so helpful. Excellent positioning for our visit. thanks

Paul’s place is exactly as he advertises, a fun and comfortable man cave (though women are allowed too!). The pull-out bed was comfortable for my gf and me. The place was clean, the TV was big, the underfloor heating worked, and most importantly for us, we were able to bring our dog with us. Not many other places in Sheffield let you do that, so it was a perfect place for our stay.

Anne was lovely, great facilities, hot tub was amazing. 10/10 would definitely go back. Area was quiet. Lidl 3 minute drive away which came in handy and only 25 minutes away from Sheffield city centre

Wow!!! No complaints here. A well deserved five star review. This lovely cottage is great for one or two adults. For a quite romantic weekend or for hitting the trails for hiking or biking. Close to main road for groceries or restaurants. Easy transportation options. We took the 84 bus most times. Nicky is very friendly and well informed. Always available to answer questions. The cottage was immaculate. Everything has been well thought out and provided. Excellent maps and info provided. Which we could have stayed longer. Won’t stay anywhere else if in the area. Gary was very helpful as a host, providing alternative directions before arrival due to road closures. Very responsive and friendly. Location aas great for us as we were heading to Download festival (roughly 15/20 mins to site). The space was great and had everything we needed, would definitely recommend!

The cabin was lovely and cosy and in a beautiful location. Stunning views and so peaceful. Sat on the patio with a coffee in the morning listening to the birds incredible. The log fire made the evenings in the cabin lovely and cosy.
