Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hoover

My family stayed at Sherrie’s home to attend our niece’s wedding at The Barn at Henley Estates. The home was spacious and comfortable, comfy beds. The drive to and from the wedding venue was perfect. Sherri is very prompt with communication. She was especially understanding when I had to make an edit to my reservation. She was kind and very helpful. Would highly recommend for those attending weddings in the area at venues or events at the University of Montevallo, which is close by.

This was our second stay and we had a great time with our 2 small kids. The open floor plan is great for letting the kids play while we cook in the very well stocked kitchen. Very convenient location to McWayne science center and other parks for kid entertainment as well as restaurants and a cute little wine bar for the grownups. Overall we would stay there again for sure.

Outstanding house and location for access to Hoover Met. The house comfortably fit 2 families with kids and gave everyone their own space. The large kitchen made meal prep so easy. The backyard was fantastic for downtime, plenty for the kids to play with and large enough for them to run around, very quiet neighborhood and Heather was a fantastic host, flexible for check in and responsive for any questions. Highly recommend this house and host.

We rented this Airbnb because it was close to our wedding venue. The place is absolutely gorgeous! I loved the sheep, laying on the hammock, and just the quiet surroundings. I plan to return again one day for a quiet weekend getaway with my now husband! I honestly didn’t want to leave!

The host were great! The unit was spotless! Very comfortable bed and attention to detail in unit. Great nespresso machine in unit and also coffee maker in lobby. Outdoor patio on ground floor was nice to de-stress. Overall great stay and space.

Quick one night stay in Birmingham. Place was clean and host communicated well. Easy check in and out.

We really liked Mallorie's place! Very clean and nice furnishings. Quiet location off the beaten path. When housekeeping was running a little late on the day of our arrival, Mallorie offered to refund some money to make up for the inconvenience. We really appreciated that! Overall, great experience!

Carol’s place was clean and well appointed. She was very responsive and also accommodated late check in. There isn’t much around but it’s about a 15 minute easy walk to the convention center.

Sheila was a great host, super responsive to our communications. Unit was exactly as described and we were very happy with our stay.

Great place to stay. It was our second time. Clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet and close to shopping, restaurants and Samford. Lauren was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. We hope to stay again in the future.

Joe’s place is very nice! I think it’s exactly what the pictures depicted and worked really well for our one night stay. Joe was very responsive to my messages and helped coordinate an early check in based on our need for that. That was very much appreciated and would recommend this property and any others he may have, based on that service alone!

Such a cute spot! We travel back and forth from the beach to Birmingham for my daughter’s cancer treatment and found that Airbnbs were the way to go. More homey. This one was great and it’s comfy and cozy. You don’t feel like you’re staying in a sterile Airbnb, if you know what I mean. This one has character and warmth. We were already familiar with the area, but they keep several menus out for you and list tons of spots near by! We had everything we needed and my anxiety appreciates the detailed information we received from the hosts.

Joycelyn's place is perfect if you want a nice quite place that feels like home. We were there for a wedding and to have some fun exploring the city of Birmingham. This condo was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! Joycelyn was very responsive. Her place was very clean and had all of the items you need to enjoy a short weekend or a longer stay. The area that it is located in is beautiful! We will stay here again!
