Condo vacation rentals in Hood River

Comfortable space and great location. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Trundle bed and queen in only bedroom could be an issue for some people but it was fine for 3 women. Would definitely book again.

If you’re headed to Mt Hood and don’t want to drive back to the city this is a great spot. Hotel style condo but lots of privacy. Staff at the front desk are very nice and helpful.

The place was as advertised. Very comfortable and practical for a one-week stay. It had all the functional little amenities that I needed, but aren’t always in Airbnb listings- eg chopboard, extra light bulb, etc. So worked out perfectly. Host was very prompt and responsive. The only little negatives were that the tv didn’t get many stations, but I was out most of the time anyway. And the bedroom didn’t have an openable window so it got a little stuffy without turning on the AC. But the king bed was comfortable and the living room had two windows so it was a comfy place to hang out.

We have stayed at this property in this condo in 2023. It is extremely clean and peaceful. The river runs right by it with beautiful views. The bed is very comfortable and everything you might need is in the kitchen! The few restaurants in this area are great! A perfect getaway for our 37th wedding anniversary! The Salmon River Trail is a beautiful walk. A must see! We will visit this property again as it is so quiet and relaxing.

Overall the stay was great. Excellent accommodations for two couples, and a gorgeous view of Mt. Adams. Very nice neighborhood and great walking distance from town.

It was a great place to stay, surrounded by nature and mountains.

Great place! A little hard to find with the instructions given but the place was really nice and fun! Tv kept cutting out the sound and WiFi was really slow but we played board games and had a lovely time. Recommend if you’re going up there with friends or family to go snowboarding for a few days!

this is a central located 1 bedroom in Govy. to be honest I didn't even realize how walkable it was when we booked but there are multiple bars and a corner store within a 2 minute walk! it's not super fancy but it was clean and had everything we needed to cook a meal and enjoy our evening. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, plenty of room, comfortable beds. We were doing a Mt. Hood summit, and the Gov Shack was perfect for what we needed.

We had a fantastic stay! The condo was spacious, well-appointed, and perfectly located—just a short drive to Mount Hood Meadows. The clubhouse amenities (pool, hot tub, and sauna) were a great bonus for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Looking forward to making this an annual trip. Thanks again!

Hubs and I have been wanting to take the kids skiing for years. But as they would be first timers we desired a casual, fun, low stress experience. Having lived in Oregon I immediately thought of Mount Hood. We lucked out that Violet’s place was available as our family prefers having more space and the ability to cook (in part because of food allergies and picky eaters). When we walked in we were BLOWN AWAY but how resorty the apartment looked and felt. I mean - heated bathroom floors, all the amenities, and soft amazing beds. Beautiful view from the balcony. Even a little hidden nook bed that my 10 yr old just adored. It really was perfect for us. We skied at Meadows and skibowl (go to Meadows - it’s worth the drive) but love the tubing experience at skibowl. The heated pool was so fun - every time my daughter got too hot - she’d hop out and make a snow angel then hop back in. I would not hesitate to book here time and time again.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. I stayed there for a weekend with my husband and son as we went up skiing. It was a great location. The apartment is so lovely and designed very well. The bedding in bed were very comfortable. Everything you need is there and well thought out. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay! We were snowboarding at Mt. Hood and Timberline. It's very close and has an adorable little town in walking distance or a 30 second car ride away. Place was spacious and the laundry is free in the basement. I would recommend staying here rather than Mt Hood Village as it's farther and not as much of a town vibe. This was perfect for us and the hosts are quick to respond and very helpful. Would stay again!

We immensely enjoyed our stay here at the condo in Govy. The place is very nicely decorated and has everything you might need for a stay of any length. Noelle was quick and friendly with all the communication we had and very responsive and helpful with any questions that came up. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked. It's a very family friendly place especially with young kids, we made use of the handy washer and dryer! Being on the ground floor made it safe and also easy loading. The building was very quiet and the location makes it easy to get to the mountain for snow activities with also having restaurants and stores close by. Having a pool and rec room was the best part of the stay - the kids loved the warm pool and playing foosball in the rec room which is just across the hall...a nice surprise was a fun stash of VHS to watch! We loved our week stay and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Cindi's place. The condo is spacious and in a great location. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would love to stay there again sometime!
